No bells anymore because bells cause stress. Oh well, that's OK then. We can't have firefighters having stress, can we ? It's not like they can handle stress ....
they should have that go off, then they bring in the bells after the nice voice is over, that will wake everyone up lol. i know i would easily sleep through that music,

The best emergency sounds, the ones that really show us that this is an emergency are made of 850hz and 200hz, Not that kind of music and that stupid voice.
@Mattylad36 Bells dont really exist these days they introduced this new increasing alarm wich is alot more suttle and firefighters wake up quicker! before the bells would go down and Ff would wake up thinking ffs another shout where this new alarm just wakes them up in a calm maner
its true! - city of liverpool got rid of bells in 73/74 just as merseyside were taking over! i dont think merseyside had any bells - this was due to a study that found the stress caused by a sudden loud ringing bell going off
@sparky2k3 Thats actually true. The original bells that the LFB had caused people to jump and as he says cause too much stress thats why they were replaced and then replaced again.
@DPL1146 well new systems tell u the tucks that need to respond, bells didnt so u have crews rushing around for stuff they dont need to attend to, the vid didnt show this as it was a test.

Wow, even health and safety has gotten to alarms, Falck in Aarhus has a nice alarm that would actually wake you up.
Nice video though, it's always interesting to hear alarms.
