I got this game by mistake at the age of 10 when I bought 'Final Fantasy Chronicles', assuming that it was the title of a new Final Fantasy game all on its own and not knowing that it was in fact a compilation of Chrono and FFIV. It's a mistake I'll never regret making for the rest of my life. In fact, what am I saying? It wasn't a mistake at all, it was a very, very, fortunate accident. What I'm saying is, I'm glad I was too young and stupid to know what the words 'game compilation' meant.

I started this game recently, first time, and I gotta say its not worth the praise it gets. I don't know, maybe the outated graphics, maybe the poor kiddy storyline (13 hours into the game) or maybe my expectations were so high from people recommending it... I just don't get the whole 'best rpg evar' thing you've all been saying, other recent rpg are better imo. Can anyone tell me if the story gets any better? Am I wrong to judge CT this early (just gave the Masamune sword to Frog)?

Well, I finished the game and have to say that I was wrong. The game really picks up once you get to the Kingdom of Zeal. Still, I think that a remake for the PS3 with graphics similar to Valkyria Chronicles, a little revision of the story and an actual voice and personality for Crono would make this game even more epic.

1: Princess Nadia (Marle) shouldn't be wearing the pandant when see disappears. Because Crono has it and doesn't get a chance to give it back before she disappears.
