You need dosbox to run some old games, this is what i used when i played and recorded this.

If you go to dosbox . com, you can download it from their homepage.

The easiest way to use it probably, is to install dosbox, and have a link to it's exe on your desktop.

Then drag and drop your game exe's on to it and it should run.

Oh man I love this game! I still have my old instalation CD, my brother and I used to do the same thing, it's all about unnecessary surgury and eye pokeing the patients who can't say "Alice"!! Our doctor's name used to be Dr. Dork though lol =P

This was an awesome game - I used to be so afraid of having to using the operating table, I just procrastinated and either argue with the computer on the office desk or torture the paitents like perscribe codeine to a morphine addict or send a guy with a pacemaker for a CAT scan. lol

oh yea i have a question. this game, when i downloaded it, it didnt fit on my screen. the top half went onto the bottom of the screen, then the mouse froze and i had to do ctrl+alt+delete to close the game. is it because i didnt use DOSbox?

i just drag the games exe onto the dosbox exe and it loads up..

i have a shortcut to dosbox on desktop so it's easy to find

here's some features i use (from readme file):

CTRL+F5 Save a screenshot.(png)

CTRL+F6 Start/Stop recording sound output to a wave file.

CTRL+F11 Slow down emulation (Decrease DOSBox Cycles).

CTRL+F12 Speed up emulation (Increase DOSBox Cycles

CTRL+ALT+F5 Start/Stop creating a movie of the screen.

ALT+ENTER Switch to full screen and back.

well the game doesnt have a .exe because its a zip file....? i got one of the downloads to work right from the zip file though. guess i lucked out.

oh well then you need to unzip it first into a folder

if you don't have winzip or something similiar you could try typing 'unzip files free' into google and see what comes up..

i havent really searched for a free unzipper before, so i dont know which to recommend
