It's easy to get away with 1 flat tyre. Ease 180 spins. And also, try to go through corners of pavements, inside of the lanpost, they'll crash loads. I managed to crash them after 30-35 seconds by doing that. But I was lucky.

Presonally I have not been bashing on the godfather. But from what you are discribing it sounds like busy work, not important towards beating the game or advancing the storyline. I picked mafia because it tells a really good story, and I thought it would be more fun for people on youtube to watch. Believe it or not some games that are really "fun" to play, are boring to watch, while some games that are "boring" are really interesting to watch somone else play.

Look Godfather is a great game Justincblount but overall mafia is better. The story on it was a disappointment. Ur not even a guy from the movie.
