@freekshigh No idea other than a general search on here.
A fork is a fork though regardless of the make and model, do a search for changing fork seals and that should get you the idea.
If there are cross headed screws at the bottom near the hub nut they're drain screws, open them and pump the forks to drain the oil, to refill you need to take the cap bolts off the top of the forks, if theres no drain screw, take the cap bolt off, remove the fork form the stanchion and upend and pump.
remember!!!! you always have to put the engine in T position, this is the upper piston position, you can check it by putting a screwdriver throuhg the sparkplug hole , the "T" is wievable throug a hole in the carter and you set it by turning clockward the "volante" (i dont know the name in english), valve clearance can be check only in this position an always always with the cold engine, (not warm or almost cold, COLD)
@aleramone23 Please see parts 2 and 3 of my valve clearance videos, I explain all of the above, hence the title of VC 1 etc.
DO NOT put a screwdriver or anything else through the spark plug hole, if this must be done, a smooth round bar such as a pushrod is OK on a 2 stroke or 4 stroke where the plug hole is in the middle of the head, if off centre, DON'T unless you fancy stripping to repair the potential damage, you can feel compression by putting your thumb or finger over the plug hole.
@b3hr057 That's a downside with not having a cameraman to adjust while I move around the frame, something i'll bear in mind for future videos like this though, thanks
i have a similar lifan egine. from skygo SG125 (lifan city x125) i was wondering what the outlet from the cyclinder is? i looks like it goes to a diaphragm or similar
Hello, you. I have also a chinese motobike in EU. Its a Zongshen Z 125 GYA its looks like the same thing. What clearence do you have it , in and out?
Thanks for the tip for our US viewers, however if a viewer is unable to figure that out given it's visibility in the video i'd recommend you don't try this and entrust the procedure to someone else.
Excellent video. I did find it usefull though during running in to have both valves set to 0.08mm as they lose there gap pretty quickly during the first couple of thousand km's. But once run in then 0.05mm for the inlet is where it should be. Thanks again, great vid, there should be more chinese bike vids!! ;o))
HI can you tell me where can I find a video to replace the oil in the front shocks.
Thanks

this is great info, I just wish the angle was more from the above and your hands weren't in the way 85% of the time. Thanks for posting, though!

your head is also diffrannt that mine.

The outlet from the head is for the SAI, (Secondary Air Injection), this is a device which cleans up emissions for euro emissions regs.
Some are connected to an outlet on the exhaust pipe itself.
There are wo models of this engine, some have two removable caps rather than the whole rocker cover, the principal for adjustment is the same.

0.06mm inlet and exhaust, this seems the best compromise, some handbooks says 0.08 and others 0.05

what is valve clearence?
nassestyle 2 years ago
It's the clearance between the valve stem and the rocker arm which opens the valve in the cylinder head to let fuel in and spent gas out
