WOW! i just watched the White Lion video of Vito doing the solo, and you got it down! I notice lots of guitar players, i do it myself, playing the last several riffs with a pic! But...it IS tapped! Now i gotta go and relearn that part!! Thanx for a great video and probably the best version on here!

hey man ive asked this ? to another guy at the 20 sec mark i seen u bend at 9th fret

and in the song there is definetly a harmonic dont know but sounds like a tapped one but i almost hear it when you bend that note the tab book i got shows it just like you play it except for the bend one note and im letting it get to me any help?

@scofeildkid Check out my vid of this solo -you're right about the harmonic @ :20. Vito does a 'touch' harmonic there. As he's bending the 9th fret he lightly touches the string @ the 14 fret right after tapping there. It's definitely one of the coolest parts of the solo for me - I worked my butt off to make sure I always get that! :) Good luck!

Very good. -- If you'd be so kind: I can play this entire solo except for the second-to-last tapped part on your solo (I pick the last phrase instead of tapping it).

Any chance you can do this at 3/4 or 1/2 speed so I can see that part more closely.

Note: I have the official tab for this song and yet that part of the solo confuses me.

From watching all the attemps at this solo on Youtube its clear that even for people with lots of chops this solo is very difficult. Some rush it too much and the phrasing isn't right. You really hit all the points with it. What makes it such a great solo is the great technique is in service of a great melody and phrasing and when the phrasing isn't in place it just falls apart.
