How to Make Easy Tasty Tomato Basil Soup

I would add a pinch of red food coloring to that soup. I was always under the impression that TB soup was reddish in colors with swirls of white cream drizzled on it right before serving. You forgot parsley/coriander and croutons.

Nice soup recipe.

Go smooth/silky but then add a can diced tomato for more soup to the pot.

Yes the cream cheese will lighten the color.

It's the natural choice for this recipe, but like all recipes, try whatever you like and see how it tastes!

(remember the taste of the cheese will be strong in the soup, and many do not melt well)
