I think the key to Radiohead being superior (in my opinion) is how several bands seem to be influenced by only one aspect of their sound. The most blatant examples being Coldplay and Muse, and they are only watered down versions. I like them, but I'll take Radiohead over them any day for the quality, depth, and diversity of sound.

This song is so good. This whole album is so underrated. I actually like it... prepare yourselves... better than every album except The King of Limbs. I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW that's crazy. But man there's just something about this album; it hits hard and it's really really got a lot of musical maturity and tact. It's a bit long, sure, but I love every song and some, like this or A Wolf at the Door or A Punchup are spectacular. The first half is awesome grooves, the back half is powerful force

The two are quite different: Radiohead is more experimental, while Muse is more of a hard rock band that draws on a huge variety of influences. Showbiz had similarities to The Bends, but Origin was something different entirely.

Personally, I love Radiohead (except Kid A and Amnesiac... pretentious horse shit), but I prefer Muse. Muse is also WAY better live.
