@pauldonovan08 I've got the contourGPS as well and so far just the Dashware trial. I'm a little disappointed by the interface but it works well enough. I'm hesitating because of the fact it is Windows only and I hate buying Windows programs even if I can boot into Windows if I have to on my Mac. Have you found a resource for third party gauges? I'm looking for specifically an FZ6R gauge or something close.
@oldNavyJZ It's a nice piece of software. You can make your own gauges, but I don't know if there are third party providers (I would be surprised if there were since this is kind of niche software).
As for only being on PC, I wouldn't worry unless it's not working. Virtualization and dual boot solves these problems. Just make sure the demo is working fine for you before buying.
@chazbaetj I used Dashware software to create an overlay based on the GPS track. It's easy to do. 50 bucks for the software (search Google for "DashWare). The software inports Contour GPS videos, lets you design an overlay, and outputs video in multiple formats. Let me know if you need a hand with it!
