  • 1957! GOTTA KEEP THAT FUNK ALIVE!!!!

  • I amazingly somehow scooped up an original of v8 ford blues today. so damn lucky. But still, this is EASILY his smoothest song ever. THIS is what you play for women when you're puttin` the charm on.

  • he looks like einstein hahahhaha

  • When he started out, he used to be booked into black clubs because folks thought he was black. Same thing happened to some other musicians like Buddy Holly.

  • @ Voyeuristic90: Thank you SO much for the information on obtaining some of Mose's great music!

  • sweet.

  • Would someone please send me the DVD of this amazing artist and concert?

  • @jmsbk12345 i could send you this awesome cd for like ummm 40 dollars? :)

  • Mose is awsome! Best fusion of jazz and blues ever.

  • I Love this Dude, an ain't nobody like him... I've been looking for one of his albums for years, and can't seem to find it on CD, or on the old style LP's.. The Title of his album was " Mose Allison takes to the Hills " and the song I'd love to find from the album was titled I'm Back on this Corner" ... I can't rember all the titles, but I had the album back in the mid 60's...

And I Thank You for all the Time, Love and Energy You've put into creating this Tribute to Mose

    Will

  • @Voyeuristic90 That particular album was reissued under the title "Mose Allison - Sings And Plays V-8 Ford Blues" as part of the cd-box High Jinks back in the '90's. Unfortunately that box is now out of print as well. Your best bet however would be to purchase the double cd Allison Wonderland, a compilation of his best work for the various labels that he recorded for. That one has Back On The Corner from Mose Allison Takes To The Hills, and offers you great value for money.

  • This Belongs in The Big Bang Theory. Cool Stuff, Although I don't know if Sheldon likes Jazz
