@NiksDjs - No, the large paddle steamers are on tracks with their wheels hidden under the surface of the water. The keelboats are real boats and the cast members undergo a lot of training on them.

Oh my goodness! These are just like the little boats they used to have at Disneyland! ^_^ So many memories!
