  • How would you actually put a different clip onto the tv screen? Like camera footage or a new channel or something? This video was very helpful though, thanks man. If my question is too hard to explain, it could be a

    Future tutorial I guess.

  • @CipherProductions10 its the same process. Just use a different video clip and follow the same steps.

  • Im trying to do the border thing your doing but whenever i make the border it show only the inside of the border not the outside

  • @thePishfactor618 Press M on the clip, show all the mask settings, change the transfer mode of the mask to ADD, if that didnt do it then mess with the others.

  • Can you do a tutorial of how to get your god damn AMAZING quality, like the one in 3 Man Army, BTW loved the tutorial

  • @FroztyFilms The quality of the footage? Well I have a black magic intensity pro. Which captures component video. (HD)

  • Optical Flares and Motion Tracking.

  • lol well idk i think i mean masking in general, it is were im least skilled at in sony vegas

  • @HonorableJFilm I wouldnt recommend masking in sony vegas. Sony vegas is just way too bugged in its masking features. Its much more easier in AE. Sony Vegas crashes ALL the time when you try masking. I will do an advanced masking tutorial sometime in the future dont worry.

  • you should do a tutorial of masking stuff in game like putting a phantom or the huge ship in limited cognition 3, would appreciate it :)

  • @HonorableJFilm That is CGI. That is very advanced film making lol.

  • @GamerRob1 oh lol my bad

  • @HonorableJFilm No its okay lol. Its just that stuff requires more than one person to make. Matthew Lake did the CGI. I did the 3D spartan and stuff. But its just extremely difficult. I wont be making a tutorial on how to do that stuff anytime soon. ;)

  • @GamerRob1 3D spartan meaning like the scene wire they were going into the falcon, im assuming?

  • @HonorableJFilm Nope, the very beginning. Where cole is walking. As well as the first person view animation. I did that too.

  • Awesome :)

  • I understood this fully but i have a question is sony vegas better than AE, i have both but i got more cuustomed to sony vegas pro 9 and now 10 but looking at this overview and once i understand it better i feel like AE is better, kinda another question would be should i adapt to AE more or keep going with vegas pro?

  • @HonorableJFilm Very good question. AE is simply a VFX program. Not very often it is used for editing an entire project and I dont even recommend it lol. I personally use Vegas Pro 10 for editing my projects. I use after effects for visual effects only, then after im done I simply render it out and throw it in the Vegas project. But in getting used to AE, It would depend on if you want to get good at VFX. Stick with Vegas. Use AE for Visual Effects.

  • @GamerRob1 thanks man, goodlucks for your machinimas

  • this is confusing.

  • @michaelc166 Sorry, If its that confusing you may want to look up a walkthrough through after effects. I am probably going to be doing more advanced tutorials.
