  • @robbjmc No, sorry, no ducks. My parantheses will not imply that the animals are the same either.

  • This is an amazing video!!!!!

  • They pee on things...

  • @joycloud So do joyclouds. :)

  • @robbjmc only if the price is right lol

  • @joycloud lol. Ew, and lol.

  • @joycloud Actually peeing tiny dribbles on you by the males is considered something good, shows they like you

  • @RubberDuckiLove I think I'll start doing that, peeing on people I like. :-/

  • Well done. I really like the tenderness between you and the music kicks ass. How could you say no to those big eyes?

    Thanks a huge bunch.

  • i got one about a month ago and i'm having a hard time figuring out how to play with it safely. what would you recommend? i'm just afraid of it going under the bed or in the closet and not coming out. mostly i just let him run all over me and my computer desk. any fun ideas? the dollhouse was very cute.

  • I can't guarantee that he won't run under a couch or something, but my experience has been that they really prefer to be up high on things. They love my curtains (as you can see) and even if they run under a couch, it's usually to get to the curtain, where I can safely collect them. Until I see them on that curtain, I step carefully. Find a part of the room he can feel safe on top of something...he'll likely then always go there. And the more you let him climb on you, the more trust he'll have.

  • Also be aware of his waking pattern...mine seem sleepy until midnight, when they become hyper. When they are sleepy or shy, they may want a place to nest, so perhaps keep a sugar pouch up high so that he won't feel compelled to go find some other, harder-for-you-to-get-to spot.

And as always, I recommend you get him a sugar buddy sooner than later since they are harder to introduce to each other when they get older, and he could be very lonely while you are at work or asleep w/o one. Good luck!

  • @krystallost How's it been going with your suggie? Sorry I did not reply, I did not see the post until now. You probably know by now that suggies prefer to be high up and would rather climb a curtain than go under a bed. But it's still best to play with them in a room with few places for them to hide...and to walk very slowly around that room until you know exactly where they are.

  • this sounds like bjork

  • It is Bjork

  • extra cute!! where can I get one of those cocanut balls that they were in that was inside their crate? Is that where they sleep?

  • are thanks so much for that video, me and my daughter clapped at the end lol x

  • Great -- can't get a better compliment on a video than that!!!! :)

  • Cute couple! Oh and the sugar gliders are sweet as well...we love ours!

  • This video is adorable! Great Job! But what was with that part where someone pops out of the cage? I would like die if someone did that to me.

  • I jes' thought it would be funny. And nobody (sugar glider or human or sugar-human) was harmed in the making of this video.

  • Its so adorable! =)

Look how cute they are I want to hold one all day :)

  • Is that a pic of annie lennox at the end?

  • LOL! I couldn't figure out what you meant until i watched it again. No, that's my friend Suzanna, though she looks nothing like Annie in real life (just in this picture).

  • OMG I loved that video!! I have two girl sugies and I love them to death! Nice job on the graphics! =]

  • WOW... Dude you are spiderman at 2:17... LOL... i has 2 but they died :(

  • But branches to the cage, in wild they live on trees and they jump from tree to tree.

They would have more interesting lives, if there were branches.

  • I posted that over a year ago...since then, I converted an entire 110-cubic-foot shower into an easily cleaned, branch-filled habitat for them. The cage is in there too and for awhile, they preferred it, but now they sleep in a wine bag hanging from the branches.

  • hey rob jmc about the description sugar gliders and flying squirrels are totally different things. Theyre not even in the same family. sugar gliders are marsupials with an apposable thumb and flying squirrels are rodents and have no apposable thumb. google it and come back to comment. youll see im right im not doing this to act smart but it pisses me off when people confuse those two same goes for everybody else.

  • ur stupid... says nothing about SGs and flyinh squirrels being related in the description

  • @josh003355 ???????

I never said anything about flying squirrels...there is a resemblance in habits, but of course I know they are not related.

  • sugar gliders are so cute i have have to twins i loved you video SUGAR GLIDERS RULE!!!!!

  • people who are saying sugar glides are hard to take care of they are much easier with two sugar gliders cuze if you neglect them once its nothing they play with each other

  • See I'm 16 and I would LOVE a sugar glider but it only seems possible if you don't go to school and work night shifts.

If you have them from when they're babies can you condition them to be awake during the day and sleep at night or is it instinctive?

  • Actually im 13 and mine are doing quite well and if you train the like that to sleep during the night they wil die.. Also the mother will train the baby to sleep in the morning so when its finally out of the pouch it would already be used to sleeping in the morning..

  • Why would they die?

  • because if u train them to sleep always in the morning and their just babies u can expect them to get sicker and sicker cause they aint used to it.

  • Oh my goodness! I can't get over how tiny they are!

  • the best suggie video ever produced!!!

  • FANTASTIC video. The song fits with gliders perfectly. I have 3 and they love to turn my life upside down nightly.

    I love it!!!

  • I still cant believe that one of our native beauties ..like the delicate sugar gliders are sold as pets in USA and other countries....its just disgusting....If you were to see them natural and wild...you see just how magestic and native they really are...good to see you looking after your PETS...although it saddens me that they have never known nature..Here in Australia where they are native...they are protected and not sold as pets....quite amazing really..

  • I have a glider, and she couldn't be happier. If you know how to take care of them and you do your homework, they are quite happy

  • I have a sugar glider, and she couldn't be happier. If you do your homework and know how to really take care of them, they are really quite happy...

  • wat song is this

  • It's Bjork's "It's Oh So Quiet." Look for her video here on youtube -- it's great.

  • awesome speachless.

  • nice video-luv the music lol =)

  • Nice ;D

  • cool gliders, cool music fits perfect.......

  • i loved this video, its great

  • but can you train them to use a litter box like a ferret or rabbit or cat i had a trained ferret only went in the litter box but his cage was on a nightstand so whenever he was on the floor he couldnt reach and well you can guess what happened but its not that hard to clean up

  • You can't really potty train them. Once in a while (rare) a glider might learn not to be as messy as others, but usually they just go whenever and wherever they want to. (on the cage edge, owner, curtains)

  • Do they poop everywhere or do they go back to the cage like cats or bunnies?

  • pretty much when they need to go...they go.

  • For the guy who messaged me:

Thanks -- it's actually a parrot cage, but you have to be sure the bar spacing is less than half an inch. I actually had to line one of the cages with "wire cloth" from Home Depot because the bars of the cage was too far apart. But I know they enjoy being able to jump around in all that space. Check craigslist and ebay for used cages -- they can be pretty cheap that way. Cheers!

  • hahaha i jumped

  • It's nice to see a video made by someone who doesn't keep them like hamsters.

    =)

Kudos to you for knowing what you're doing! Yay!

  • you're so lucky! ever since fourth grade i've been fascinated with possums and sugar gliders have always been my favorite!

  • where did you get him and how much waz he??

  • soo cute. whats the song?

  • Thanks! It's Bjork's "It's OPh So Quiet."

  • yeah true, ok, kewl,i sold my psp thats like 170, ill go work some more, arnt they like 100 dollors? iv got the cage and all that stuff..

  • lol, nice video dude, im about 2 get one, just 1, it might go crazy?

  • Yes, please don't get only 1. It won't go crazy, it will become listless and maybe even become stressed out and get sick. Imagine if you were kidnapped by a giant and put in a cage without another human in sight. How bored/lonely/sad would you be for the 23 hours a day the giant is busy? Please buy 2!

  • The shhhh on the song is so perfect, like a mother singing to her little joeys!

  • The song is hilarious with this video! What cute sugar gliders~~ :)

  • Thanks! I love them like crazy. I even miss them during the day...but they're asleep anyway.

  • What a fantastic video, I stumbled on looking for the OTHER kind of honey possum's, but I just loved your soudtrack. Thanks.

  • man... this was freakin hilarious!!! I want a flying squirrel honey possum! So cute... the song was perfect with the show. Thanks for the smilez!
