  • is a 400 spine stiffer than a 500 spine?

  • @588158 YES!

  • "Ah, Ah, Ah", read the damn cue cards. I guess the jacket makes him think he knows all about arrow spine.

  • Dont listen to this guy its bullshit...u can shoot a stiff arrow with a light poundage bow..all u need is feather fletching and a arrow nock that does not get stuck in your string...ive shot my war arrows on my yew bow.thats 100LB pull...and shot the same arrows on a kid bow that is 25lb..and they fly strait, all primitive arrows are never spinned..this is all bullshit

  • Couldnt you also shoot a longer arrow to decrease spine?..

  • @rainmechanic Dont listen to this guy its bullshit...u can shoot a stiff arrow with a light poundage bow..all u need is feather fletching and a arrow nock that does not get stuck in your string...ive shot my war arrows on my yew bow.thats 100LB pull...and shot the same arrows on a kid bow that is 25lb..and they fly strait, all primitive arrows are never spinned..this is all bullshit

  • @5tonyvvvv Have you tried any tuning tests with grossly over-spined arrows? I have and it's usually not good. I have shot overspined arrows that tuned properly myself, but that's only after eliminating cam lean (no lateral nock travel) and perfect cam synch (no vertical nock travel). And this is only at short range in indoor tournaments. Once I get outdoors and shoot as far as 90m spine becomes rather critical.

Primitive arrows are spined, by the way. If you don't you're missing accuracy.

  • @gvman3670 I Don't spine mine, and natives never bothered with perfect spined arrows, I use viburnum, and dogwoods, and birch, I do make Thicker arrows for heavier bows, but for the most part I don't get that crazy, My arrows fly great, I just took pig, with a hand made primitive arrow and Turkey fletching, Good Hunting man!

  • @gvman3670 I have no fancy equipment, I live in the woods, I dont Tune my arrows, thats more of gimmick tool that archery shops want you to buy, Check out Yanomami arrows, 6 foot long giant cane arrows!

  • Very helpful ty
