It was the meanies playing at the same time outside cos i remember going to watch them for a bit , they used to be fun live and the hard-ons , cosmic psycho's i spit in your gravy , painters and dockers etc , good times for earthy rock in oz i reckon :-)

so funny am i right?, kurt was having monitor sound issues so he didnt scream YEAAAAAHH!!! and at 1:38 monitor plays that scream so kurt got surprised and probably didnt like it and at 1:46 his scream is to piss off to see if the guy can reproduce that soo funny, kurt was awesome

I remember that day so clear me and my mate waiting down the front for youthu yindi to finish playing so Nirvana would come out. We could see Chris watching them from the side of the stage probly thinking what the fuc is this aussie shit. Then The voilent femmes came on later.

@smicko77 I worked on the gig , one of my mates was one of the four people who invented big day out , and i must say that i thought they were seriously average , the beasts of bourbon blew them away , saw beasts a few times and they are second only to the clash live i reckon. funnily enough i found my backstage pass the other day 20 years later !

@jesszilla18 Monitor mix probably went out, and their sound guy was trying to figure it out. If you've ever sang with a band that as loud as Nirvana was, it's next to impossible to hear yourself without monitors.
