Then again, I think that's usually the plan. The company send out the bad games first and try to 'repair' them later (for an extra fee; sometimes free) just to test the waters. Maybe it's just paranoia but the situation feels like a scam but I could be wrong. I hope this "patch" works because NBA 2K10 does have more bugs than previous games.

Nah...... All their previous games have been fine, but I've had heard 2k10 has add some minor bugs that a Patch can fix. Patch should be available soon.
