The only thing i hate about the stinger is how it can make you more visible (popping out from your back) to the opponent team when you are on your primary. Good example is crouching behind crates in bootleg, you see the odd launcher sticking out like a sore thumb.

But A pavelow takes 3 stingers to shot down. If im on a kill streak and I have a fresh stinger, I wouldnt be able to take out the pavelow.

Dude i totally agree with you on this one. Whenever i choose a class that doesn't have stinger i instantly regret it. It's so useful and easy to get rid of air support.

definantly agree. FMG9s are getting patched so they will no longer be over powered (HELLS YEAH). People prefer the javelin to the stinger as it has free fire as well as lock on but they have the disadvantage of only one rocket where as the stinger has 2. i prefer the stinger and recomend it as a secondary in game types such as ground war, tdm, kill confirmed, etc.

@markvermylen Heres a tip: Dont use it... It is the biggest peice of crap ever. I went to hardcore with it and you still get hitmarkers making it take 2 or even 3 grenades from it to kill in hardcore!

The only downside i've found to the stinger is that it's actually taller than your head, so you can get seen when at other times you wouldnt be seen with say FMG9's...

Please don't stop making these, I find them very useful. I may not comment on every video, but I watch them all and they help a lot. Using the stinger to shoot down all the UAVs and Hinds I saw, I just got two Reapers in one game, and I'm not very good at COD so that's saying a lot. Thanks!

@berryhill88 Yeah I'll most likely do that, I spent a token on double xp just to test that out, not really worth it though, spent my second one on portable radar, on my 3rd I'll probably buy stinger as I got nothing else I want to unlock early.

Does the item you unlock stay with you through every prestige without needing to "buy" it again? It seems like it does from how people talk about it, but wanting to make sure.

@darkshad109 Yes, things you unlock will always stay with you throughout the game really. So far I've bought MP7, the MSR, and Dead Silence. Considering buying the ACR, or just an extra custom calss slot. I regret buying the MSR though.
