Don't Buy SBI | My Site Build It Review

I'm still deciding whether to use Site Build It, based on just one thing: I'm about dead broke. Working full time on your site, and being very talented in what it's about, and having quite a bit of content already made for uploading, how soon would you start making money? :C Because if I can't make at least enough to pay for the service within the first one or two months, I'll go broke. (=( (thinking about the monthly payments, I don't stand a chance of affording the main thing).

Sbi is a good platform....and I tried it. It all kind of reminds me of the .ws robot website builder. It all dances like it's 1999. With wordpress the sky is the limit.

Site Build It was a waste of time and money for me...plus they sell your information to other companies resulting in lots of junk mail. Go with DreamHost...they are the best and keep your name and address private!

SBI has some of the most atrocious templates available on the net. They look like they were created in 1995. (Sorry, but your website is a prime example) The user interface is clunky and there are so many things you cant do with SBI that you can easily implement with Wordpress. It is not as user friendly as others will have you believe.

And at $300 a year it is waaay to expensive!

Stick with Wordpress!

Site build it is a giant sized pain in the ass if you ever want to transfere a domain or change your domain name. I mean HOLY FUCKING SHIT! Also just be aware that you CAN NOT use PHP or cms systems like drupal or joomla with it.

There whole service is very regimented but supposedly it works for some people. i dom't know what the success rate it. I am just getting started with it now...so I'll let you know how it goes. Aye...i'll keep you posted.

I heard what you said and I've taken it all into account, and I actually think I would use SBI, but my only concern is weather or not a film production site is best suited, and my main reason for my concern is that I would like to use my website to find people that would want to help animate my script ideas (With certain payment, of course) and eventually take up scripts that are having trouble selling to certain companies.
