Is the header on the left or right side of the engine (if your facing it from the hood) on a Ka24de? There are 2 things that look like headers.

i have that sam esmoke even when my cars warm but i have a straight pipe from the cat back but i think my turbo down pipe is bad, but it looks like a nice setup as i can see but to make it louder remove that rear box in front of the axles!

hmm i havnt started my ka single cam for a few weeks because i dont have insurance started it a few days ago tho and it smoked like yours is it just because it was sitting or is it burning oil i dont really recall mine smoking when i was driving i have the apexi n1 single btw

@xstr33tr4cerx r u high?. in the right hands a KA can be a great build to spend money on. (thats wat im doin with my KA) a built KA can cost about the same as an sr20 and cheaper than the RBs with similar results depending on wat you do with it.

Absolutely. I would suggest using the silencer if you take any long trips though cause the noise can get a bit old on the freeway.

ka kills sr20 with the same t25 turbo that comes on the sr20 although its cheaper for sr20 you already have a good motor in it

Dump the SR20 idea, stay KA and turbocharge it. Its getting easier and easier with aftermarket parts more available!

get sr its a much stronger motor stock then a ka, how much boost do you want to run? Also you guys bashing the sr have no clue obviously on a proper turbo setup, ka will need much more then a turbo kit to run as relaibly as a sr, but i dont want to argue as we are all nissan fans obviously, stop bashing the sr though!

Hey not trying to bash you or nothing but i owned an s15 black top with s13 head, gt30/45R with JWT ecm and Hks 265 stage 2 cams. It was 295WHP. I'll tell you right now. I own a KA24E-T 265WHP that is MUCH more fun to drive then my SR was. Plus look at the tracks now, KA-Ts can pull well under 11 seconds now and if you think an sr is cheaper your out of your mind. Im picking up another KAE for 50 bucks. and it will cost about 1000, to fully build it for 600WHP and run it around 400WHP all day.

no bashing taken no worries man, as far as ka goes yes they are great when turbo'd and yes they may out do a sr in some places but no need to down talk me on a sr or ka's potential as I am a 4th yr. appr. mechanic that specializes in nissans, importing them from japan and working them I own a rhd jdm 180sx to tell you the truth, I could get 400whp out of an sr redtop with my setup on my car now lets not argue you enjoy the kae's and ill continue to love my sr's and rb's its all nissan man!

the KAs will usually last you about 300RWHP (possibly 350RWHP) on a stock bottom end.

fuck the sr. its aluminum. vrs iron block ka. you dont have to go complete highschool to know what metal is stronger. get different internals on a ka. and its twice as good as the sr. plus ive seen ka's beat srts'

Im not arguing man i love them both, i had a 295RWHP SR and loved it. I mean it was amazing. I just meant if you know what your doing the Ka24de-t can do alot of damage. I mean there are now 7sec ka-ts and 9 sec daily driven ones. But i do have to say. GOD i miss how quiet my sr was. Amazing how you could WOT and only hear it about ten feet or so. Was sooo fun to drift at night. My KA-T.... no way in hell. Its monsterouslly loud.
