Thanks for the encouragement. I do have to disagree with the "no difference" part tho. It,s hard to imagine anyone playing exactly like the man himself. His effortless command and control of every little dynamic is truly amazing. I really enjoy trying to play his tunes but to emulate him 100% is not a realistic goal. I am glad you enjoyed my effort tho..thx a lot
Hey me again. Sorry I didn't respond to your message, I haven't been on youtube for a while. Yes that is definitely something we should discuss in the future. I haven't worked out much cause I've been into some Michael Hedges tabs. But I will be working on it soon and I'll message you or vice versa
Ha ha indeed I will, now I'm really glad I didn't go up to him and ask if he was that youtube guy with de grassi videos. Thanks a lot for these vids, I've been trying to work out these songs by ear myself but was having some problems and seeing you play has helped immensely. I'm Trying to figure out "Luther's Lullaby" Only tunes I've got by ear are Alpine medley, march sky, and the intro to midwest snow so I really respect your musicality
I figured out march sky as well and have been working on mid west snow as well..I learned all his songs by ear at first but tablature finally was released for just about all. I,ve ordered his latest tab book which has Blood and jasmine in it so i will finally be able to see where i went wrong.. If your working on mid-western snow maybe we can trade a few bits back and forth..something to think about
Good job, especially since you worked this out by ear. This may seem like an odd question, but do you reside in Manitoba, specifically the South east? I checked your profile and saw you're from Canada, and I swear I had seen you or a very similar looking person the other day. Just wondering
fantastic - on figuring it out and performing it. Thanks for posting.

Have you ever played this (or any of your covers/material) around a campfire or fireplace? The scent of burning wood and the sound of your playing...

Excellent job! You were amazing! No difference from the "man" himself. Keep it going. From the folks down under.
