Shoji Meguro while still does solid tracks, imo is kind of overrated. Kenichi Tsuchiya (the one that composed the old Megaten/Persona games) is much better. I'd also take Yuzo Koshiro, Manabu Namiki, Masaharu Iwata, and Minako Adachi over Meguro any day.

Oh, I beg to differ. One of the most irritating things a composer can do is overuse one tool in whatever he's working on to ill effect, case in point here being the droning illegible screaming. It's fine if it goes well, but if it doesn't, I'm required as the one playing the game to sit through it every time it plays.

Nocturne got this treatment. Digital Devil Saga and the Devil Summoner series, however... now those are a completely different story.
