@Antioxidantt I am fully aware that you can turn salt water to fresh water through e.g. distillation, but if the water is polluted with chemicals or bacteria it is not that simple to turn water drinkable as you claim it to be. If it were there would not be any people suffering from lack of drinkable water. Plus it takes huge amounts of resources to build saltwater refineries to e.g. development countries and there is not always even interest to build these kinds of plants.

Besides it takes too much effort and money it also should be done on such a massive scale that would make it impossible. If you are saying that the water becomes drinkable if you let it rain back here from outer space you are wrong. The chemicals and all the other waste in it would not disappear.

In Denmark you have to drive with your headlights on, this makes it easier to tell apart the parked cars from the driving ones, it has drasticly reduces motor accidents... Also it doesn't use more gas to have your headlights on, since the motor running actually creates the power which is stored in the car battery and used for the cars electronic features....
