An interesting project is who funds these know-nothings. Organizations like the Anti-Defamation League go out of business without their own cartoon characters to demonize.
At one time the FBI was the main financial support of the Communist Party USA.
The FBI undercover agents always paid their dues in order not be suspect.

"quit using wikipedia for a source...Anyonce can change what it ays on there"
Wikipedia lists sources at the end of articles for a reason. If you don't trust the accuracy of the article, you can verify it with those little link things...
I'm tired of people complaining about the accuracy of Wikipedia. Check the sources, they will tell you exactly how accurate a particular article is.
while you are at it, you know using wikipedia as a source, go ahead and use cnn, and other forms of mainstream media....use the heresay of the step child and ignore the elephant in the room...
"I;m tired of people complaining about..." education wasn't born yesterday, but both arrogance and ignorance are born every second...I guess if I thought wiki to be the best source in the world, I would be at least ignorant...
Wikipedia has been shown to be as accurate as any other encyclopedia (which, by the way, do have their own errors). In order to judge the accuracy of a specific article, you have to check the sources, but a majority of the articles with ample sources are accurate. If you're too lazy to check sources, then sure, I guess you shouldn't be using Wikipedia.
You can't even seem to type correctly, so I'm assuming you ARE in fact ignorant. Then again, maybe your keyboard is broken.
and your maturity is broken, but oh well...I guess you are too lazy to blah blah blah
I find it interesting how whenever anyone disagrees with someone on theses informal blogs that they to make a point about grammar or typing...such a crock!
But you know what? U R absolutely write. Eye don't no how 2 right...MayB 1 day eye will git some1 just like U 2 show me how 2 right & 2 re-sirch. oakee dough-kee
Quite a logical statement there. I simply stated that Wikipedia is often accurate as evidenced by its sources. You yelled "no it's not!" and even sent me 2 separate PMs telling me the same thing. I questioned your education based on the only evidence I had (your comments), and you resort to namecalling and insist that I should "get over it".
There is nothing for me to get over. I think you are the one who has something to overcome. Good luck!
"You're soundin' a bit too much like Sarah Palin, there.I'd like to see some photo ID,please."
You betcha! Right after I get pregnant, have some kids, join the PTA, & win a local beauty pageant instead of lose one(yeah i entered one once) then maybe after joining city council, run on a major party ticket & join the brigade of those that openly won't give the people what they want. And give rhetoric out like we will hopefully change soon... Sound like a plan?
Rosetteismyname: Yep! In fact, you're soundin' just like the kind of mavrick we need up there in Washington, D.C.!
You'd be just like a fresh breath of mavricky air! And I bet if you blew your mavrickish breath- just like CPR- into ol' John McCain (the most infamous mavrick of all) he'd let you be his sidekick. Then the two of you could go off maverickin', together, like no other mavricks have ever mavricked, before.
"The pathological social structure gradually covers the entire country creating a 'new class' within that nation. This privileged class [of pathocrats] feels permanently threatened by the 'others', i.e. by the majority of normal people. Neither do the pathocrats entertain any illusions about their personal fate should there be a return to the system of normal man....."
huh, i don't even like obama, so how can i be in his cult?. i'm not even in america and if i was i wouldn't vote for either of these incompetent liars.
Hey dude, you and Bill Maher are too liberal for me. Obama couldnt give an honest answer. If he can"'t do that, what makes you think he can RUN our country?
ObamaLoser if you watched davisfleetwoods vids...you'd know he isn't for McCain or Obama...but one of the 4 third party candidates running that ron paul endorsed
Beware of the brain dead, gullible Obama Cultists who worship him like Germans worshiped Hitler. They are swarming here on orders from their masters, *The Corporations*. They will try telling you Nader can't win. Nader _can_ and _will_ win in 2008, but only if you vote for him! Take back America from the *Duopoly* and *Corporations* before its too late.
I did all the calculations. There is no point is doing anything, as far as a vote is concerned, save casting it for Obama, to give him an overwhelming majority and to destroy the Republican Party.
I have hereby converted to the Obama cult and am formally working for the bama campaign.
If he does more than destrio the Republicans it is all gravy.

It was an instinct--like a sense of smell. There was somethng fishy about Nader from the beginning--ultimately the smell of trying to reform what had to be pulled out from the root.
Did Nader care? Does Nader care? Will Nader always care? The answer to your question and all these questions is yes. Ralph Nader has dedicated his life to the improvement of the lives of millions of people even those who do not agree with him. We should all learn a lesson from his courage and determination to seek truth and justice in this world. To me Ralph Nader is the poster child for the golden rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
mopsius, you're being shilly again and you're boring me. I refuse to stoop to your low standards and will no longer reply to your ridiculous comments.
Mopsius- isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?
David Fleetwood
Ego is always the enemy. Fortunately I am not running for president. Neither are you. Anyway, Fleetwood, you don't have forty years of detailed memories of Nader, do you?
It is not a question of him selling you out.
He was empty to begin with and shot his wad with consumer advocacy. Sort of a Vance Packard without the good taste to die, or at least not run for president.
A pit-bull with lipstick is still a dog and a hot female dog is a bitch.
Beware of Republican liars or disgruntled Hillary supporters pretending to be Nader supporters. They are trying to undermine Obama and to lure voters to Nader instead. As Hillary throws her support for Obama, her interest is that all her Hillary supporters should also support Obama. Nader should at least try to get a cabinet post form Obama, that will give him a better base in 2012!
In the 2004 campaign, Democrats such as Howard Dean and Terry McAuliffe asked that Nader return money donated to his campaign by Republicans who were well-known Bush supporters, such as billionaire Richard Egan....[Nader}charged that the Democrats were attempting to smear him....According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Nader defended his keeping of the donations by saying that wealthy contributors "are human beings too."
The only way a third party can enter to get rid of these douchbags would be some sort of Ron Paul/Dennis Kucinich mix that unites people of all persuasions.
I would like you to answer your own posed dilemma: I support every single Nader position. He's spot on, from soup to nuts. He's tough, independent, well-thought, unbought, and unbuyable. I also think very highly of Matt Gonzales. But they can't win, and McCain/Palin spells DISASTER. So- is Obama playing middle ground, or has he really sold out? At this point, I have to go Obama, and hope the former.
The "can't win" argument does not hold water. For example, if you wanted to Vote for Obama, and you lived in Nebraska- are you throwing your vote away?
Alas. You have a most annoying habit (or habituation) of answering like a fortune cookie or as if a burbling oracle. Let's get one thing straight- we have to beat McCain/Palin. Don't go Zodiac on me- I agree w/you. Further, you've done an amazing job, though by strict rules of morality, y'd remain a Kucinich backer, as would I. So let's focus on beating Mc/Pn. And if RN/MG can play a positive role towards that end, great!
Again, congrats on the success of y' channel. Y'r doing great!
I live in (The Great State of?) Ohio, where every vote counts. Or does it? At least we finally got rid of some of the Republican crooks that ran Ohio into the ground, and perpetrated Ohio's last election fraud.
No doubt many Democrats hate Nader with a purple passion, and no doubt many Republicans dance with glee at his appearance, because there is a persistent feeling that he cost Gore the 2000 election. That's bullshit.
Listen- Nader's political presence is very controversial. You'll find plenty of hatchet men from both entrenched parties ready and willing to take whacks at him.
Bush Doctrine was an abuse of power, in which a search for weapons of mass destruction, resulted in the invasion and occupation of Iraq. Those darn 100,000 civilian casualties and 4 million refugees. Come on McCain, put Bush on the need to be impeached list or get out of the way!
Have you seen what Lieberman is up to lately with YouTube censorship? Look it up. It's well known Lieberman will be a top guy in McCain's cabinet. This is what you get with Neocons who see devils everywhere. More censorship. More wars. Less freedom. And debt that your grandchildren's children will still be paying to China. McCain says he doesn't get the economy. It shows. SOMEONE has to say ENOUGH. How many more wars you want to start, John? Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan... where else?
Anyone who calls a Christian a Muslim for petty political or racist reasons is not a Christian. And imagine the arrogance of denying a person their faith (basically saying they cannot go to heaven) for a petty political shot. That isn't Christian. In fact, it's the sin of false witness. In fact, it's perhaps the worst lie one could tell about another person. Explain to God why you would deny a man his devout love of Jesus Christ for politics. You should be ashamed of yourself.
the muslims want war all over the world, the christians want war,all over america. The books they worship are the devil, the gods they worship are true.Adolf tried burning books, but he was the devil too.Our hands our fate our destinies are so covered in blood. We have to let the idiots do as they may,so we can die in peace and harmony in a nuclear winter.namaste
the Muslims??? What Muslims are you talking about? Oh right those "Muslims" who aren't following Islam right, ok good one. Don't be fooled by a small group of people the media exploits and labels as Muslims. As a Canadian it'd be similar to believing that every American thinks and acts like Bush, or that what America stands for is war and controlling the world, I don't believe that but using your logic I probably should right?
only big companies profitting, and people who are corrupted by power, want war.So we fight about lies, war after war.
I really like people,i dont like groups of people.I dont like those books of old stupidity that divide.I have an affinity for infinity.haha. for truth and for a god who only accepts peace, death,or being beaten, massacred,or whatever else "horrible" is acceptable to my god of love and peace.
America stands for nothing,it sits on the couch and "knows" all is well in Denmark.
For example, would Ron Paul really be against bailing out AIG? I don't think so. He may not like it, but would he really prefer seeing the demise of the American financial sector with his resolute adherence to the support of 'free markets'?
To those who argue yes he would - I urge you to read my prior comments.
On to the heart of my comment - the over-trivilization of these issues makes these unmitigated positions about political candidates seem understandable. For example, there is, arguably, one piece of fact known for every fact that is considered classified in international politics. Even for 'transparent' issues like the economy, sophisticated derivatives products and relationship make understanding economics almost opaque for the average individual.
The fact that they have you believing there is difference, shows there plan is working. Look up Carroll Quigley. He states there is no fundemental difference between any two candidates, and that they are presented differently only to give you the satisfaction of
"voting out the bad guys", but america can never undergo major policy changes.
Same sort of thing over here in Australia, the two major parties look so much like eachother it's not funny. (Liberal and Labor)
To me it seems that McCain is more of 'The Russians are coming' and 'There are commies under the bed' kind of guy, more beligerant and warlike to advance the USA's National Security. While Obama would be more willing to take the diplomatic route, shown by him saying that he will bring Iran to the table, instead of talking about 'there may be war!'
Except for when he went to Israel. He told them exactly what they wanted to hear. He does talk a little about Iran and Iraq, but he is not taking a strong stance on peace at all.
Honestly, neither is going to lead a great movement of reformation for this country.
Neither will bring our troops home indefinitely; we will still spend billions maintaining bases in countries by reason of upholding an absurd & continually irrelevant foreign policy. Neither will slash taxes or erradicate the outrageous institution we dub the Federal Reserve. We, as American citizens, are somehow stuck choosing the lesser of two evils... That is if the devil hasn't already been choosen for us.
In eight years the Republican Party has got the US into two losing wars, wants to start another (Ira), has restarted the Cold War with Russia, had destroyed the Constitution, and has bankrupted the economy.
Without impeachment, the only accountability is to destroy the Republican Party.
Vote negative--vote Obama to destory the Republican Party.
You sir, are looking at the generalized differences between these two candidates. If his "pop quiz" is entirely too amusing to be considered legitmate, why don't you consider presenting the contrasting facts of either candidate in black & white yourself? You seem to know them.
Entertainment is all we know, sir.
It's a harsh reality we must face generations into the future of this country.
Then again, that's if we will maintain our sovereignty long enough to abide it.
ther is no differnce that matters. you probaly dont even know what the USA PATRIOT act is, it takes away are cival liberties and wipes its ass with the constitution. if you vote obama or mcain they will continue to use fear to keep taking away are rights. so if you like facism vote obama or mcain. ron paul for pres. bitches.
You make good points, the Constitution has been severely trampled on.
But I contend that the difference that does matter is that McCain is very pro-war, very bellicose, his campaign is run by a lobbyist for Georgia, on whose behalf McCain and Palin both wish to go to war and seem eager to state so publicly.
Obama stated opposition to the war before it started, when that was without question a politically dangerous move. That carries weight. We can't afford more unnecessary war.
Obama has changed his stance move the troops out of Iraq but send them to Afganistan bullshit no change with democrats or republicans same old bullshit they serve the NWO not the people!
No social movement? You must not has seen the 10's of thousands of protesters at the RNC and DNC. Thousands of gestapo agents in the streets using tear gas, rubber bullets, pepper spray, batons, and concussion grenades to repress the social movement you think does not exist.
10,000 protesters led by Iraq Veterans Against the War were met by riot police when they tried to protest Obama's war mongering policies.
Support Nader/Gonzalez and make it a three way race.
According to the mandatory fiscal disclosure report that he filed with the Federal Election Commission in 2000, Ralph Nader then owned more than $3 million worth of stocks and mutual fund shares; his single largest holding was more than $1 million worth of stock in Cisco Systems, Inc. He also held more than $2 million in two money market funds.
See, not that I am saying "aha! Nader is a shmuck!" like some third party supporters are readily to say about Obama upon their "discoveries" but I am saying that Nader has never been muddied in an intense election--he has always been outside the ring, throwing mud in, not inside, getting muddied up. You'll find he's just as vulnerable to defamation as Obama. (Not presuming you like Obama). The clever ingenuity of the attacks against Obama is what the Fightthesmears web site is for.
The difference is now that there is no social movement for true democracy. If there ever was... Meet the new boss! Same as the old boss!!! if McCain is elected, with enough protest, he won't reinstitute the draft for his 100 year war!
The third Party has always been the one of redemption. Lincon third party candidate Susan B anthony outside the system grassroots Ralph Nader third party Ross Perot third party JFK democrat that tried to change things MLK outside the system grass roots Ron Paul Third party America has advanced social issues by way od third party or grass roots efforts or fighting the company thugs in the streets for hard won labor gains. It seems that a few Great Americans carry the rest. Make a stand !
Um... JFK was a Democrat. MLK was not running for president, and if your going to call him outside the system "grass roots," would you acknowledge that Barack Obama's rise was due to grassroots fundraising and support within the primary? Lincoln I'll concede, but it was a divisive era--yes, today is divisive, similar to then, grave like then, potentially the end of the U.S. like then, but the political setup for a third parties likelihood, not the same as then.
I can tell the difference, McCain's an old fart and Obama is a nigger

Wikipedia lists sources at the end of articles for a reason. If you don't trust the accuracy of the article, you can verify it with those little link things...
I'm tired of people complaining about the accuracy of Wikipedia. Check the sources, they will tell you exactly how accurate a particular article is.
787Bisurdaddy 3 years ago
while you are at it, you know using wikipedia as a source, go ahead and use cnn, and other forms of mainstream media....use the heresay of the step child and ignore the elephant in the room...
"I;m tired of people complaining about..." education wasn't born yesterday, but both arrogance and ignorance are born every second...I guess if I thought wiki to be the best source in the world, I would be at least ignorant...
Rosetteismyname 3 years ago
Wikipedia has been shown to be as accurate as any other encyclopedia (which, by the way, do have their own errors). In order to judge the accuracy of a specific article, you have to check the sources, but a majority of the articles with ample sources are accurate. If you're too lazy to check sources, then sure, I guess you shouldn't be using Wikipedia.
You can't even seem to type correctly, so I'm assuming you ARE in fact ignorant. Then again, maybe your keyboard is broken.
787Bisurdaddy 3 years ago

Quite a logical statement there. I simply stated that Wikipedia is often accurate as evidenced by its sources. You yelled "no it's not!" and even sent me 2 separate PMs telling me the same thing. I questioned your education based on the only evidence I had (your comments), and you resort to namecalling and insist that I should "get over it".
There is nothing for me to get over. I think you are the one who has something to overcome. Good luck!

Did Nader care? Does Nader care? Will Nader always care? The answer to your question and all these questions is yes. Ralph Nader has dedicated his life to the improvement of the lives of millions of people even those who do not agree with him. I also think very highly of Matt Gonzales. But they can't win, and McCain/Palin spells DISASTER. So- is Obama playing middle ground, or has he really sold out? At this point, I have to go Obama, and hope the former.

Yes, Stone. HOPE is another 4 letter word.

I got a perfect score on this! Go me!

See, not that I am saying "aha!
