you could just take the "tube" from inside the fridge and have a plastic tube coming off of that and into your pc because fridges are radiators that are somewhat efficient, what you are doing is having a radiator inside a radiator
if you guys actually THOUGHT about how COOLING works.
way to "run" your Plastic pipe around in a slightly cool box.
OR, you could Put a Radiator mount in that freezer, so that, you know, the Plastic wasn't insulating the Water from the COLD, then you could get rid of that Crazy Car stupidity which doesn't work as well as a PROPERLY installed Cooling system.
after you do that, Place computer IN the fridge to cool everything else.
What a waste of time my Watercooling on my 930 @ 4.0 Ghz 1.25V is only 62max after 12 hours of prime 95 and i've even got a 6970 in the loop, Best of all it's totally silent, Best to use Anti freeze for the coolent and have the rad inside the fridge + fans for moving the cold air, I bet you would see 20C drop.
It would work a bunch better if you coil up a bunch more tubing in the fridge. That way their is more collent in the actual fridge. But still a pretty hair ball idea
OMG! i have 43 degrees Celsius on 100% load with a zalman resorator. what a waste of time. Dude you talk too much. Did you try putting the radiator in the fridge !! that would solve the refrigerator problem.
Uh, why would you consider this a win? With an actual watercooling system you'd get much better temps than that, 60+ degrees at idle is not good temps. So you go through all that trouble for worse performance? If you're going to do all that, should at least have something to show. Like the guy who vented his PC to a small AC unit, yeah it was crazy but he also had like 40 degree temps under load. This just seems like a waste of time and energy. Fun concept though.
Uhh, my processor fries at 62 degrees. I've got an AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black edition. I keep that baby @ 55 under max load with a v8 CPU cooler (over clocked to 3.4ghz from stock 3.0ghz settings).
Thought you said it was clocked "super" high ? 3.4 ? you avin a fookin laugh boy ? How about pull ure ass outta Cools lights' ass and actually do some proper overclocking!
What about stacking Transmission coolers, pipe them together and mount a small fan on the stack. Then the entire thing can go in the little fridge and you dont need the front end of a 87 Escort next to your computer?
we're talking about a small dorm fridge here. It has limits on how fast it can cool and has basically zero air flow in it. with the external radiator, it's venting most of the heat outside of the radiator. Having it vent inside the fridge... It's really a horrible idea. I used to visit an office building however that used an old coke machine to cool a water fountain. the machine was full of hose just like this.
I don't but when it come to this idiotic means of displaying rank I as many other do not like it so we make sure we can suppress it and one day destroy it
well.. I don't get why you guys didn't put a smaller radiator in the fridge with some fans..?
you get more liquid in the fridge and more surface area..?

why not put a smaller radiator on it and put the rad in the freezer?
kinrath1987 4 months ago
Use copper tubing in the freezer. 1/4" copper will cool it better than that fat plastic hose you have, and you can get more of it in the freezer.

Put the radiator in the fridge, then we'll talk.

okay, that was pretty lame... I'm gonna find a water fountain and hack it into a water cooler...

i have a i7 960 @ 4.2 with the H50 running at like 45-50 degrees celsius. When I lower it back down to stock, it goes to about 29-32degrees Celsius

This is dumb! Title says the computer is inside the fridge, not bolted to the top of it!

what if you put the hole computer inside a fridge

how do you make water wetter?
Zanith50 1 year ago
@Zanith50
it's purchased at a store
Redline makes it. It's great for my car and drops my temps DRAMATICALLY with only water + this water wetter fluid. I highly recommend redline.

you need all that to run? 3.4? -_- the same with i5 with normal cooling running @ like 50 idle and 65 etc load...

they make cases that are refrigerated, but a dorm fridge is too small to hold that ridiculous case, let alone a normal one.
