Don't put an EMG in that. There are plenty of high gain pickups that actually have some character and stuff and don't sound bland and generic. You could put EMGs in a log and it'd sound the same as putting them in any guitar.
Take this from someone who used to put EMGs in all his guitars until I got sick of having 5 guitars that all sounded exactly the same.
i hate these new indonesian made squiers why did squier stop the japanese ones because they never had the quality control issues like these have its like i bought an indonesian standard squier tele online and i sent it back next day because the neck was unfinished and not smooth and the pickups were so tinny it sounded like a encore stater guitar so i switched to buying vintage guitars by jhs much better quality
hows the fret acces on the high frets i play alot of octaves going down the neck and alot of things around 16 17 18 frets and theres none of these teles in my local guitar stores so i cant try it out
@Delorenzo6 Like when I hit a certain fret, it just skips to the next fret because the next fret is a tad higher. It's difficult to explain. Google it or something..lol.
@Delorenzo6 Because your finger pushes the string down and the fret sticks up and hits it it causing the note to ring since the fret puts the tension on the string at that specific spot, that's how frets work, and so since the fret it is lower the next one actually puts the tension down on the string. There's the explanation of how it happens. :P
For the EMg thing, you could just put the pickup cover over the EMG. :P And the plastic is there to "protect" the pickguard, just pop over a knob to get it off. And, unless it's reversed, the pickup selector will be down for the bridge pup.

When you talked about the bridge pickup, i swear you had it on the neck pickup...
ImMclovinMuse 7 months ago
Actually the bridge is a bridge...it's just a string through bridge.

the second pickup (bridge?? idk) doesn't sound bad, it just has that creamy tone to it and it's meant to.

@R4R45 I just don't prefer it with what I'm playing. If that's what I was goin for, it'd be great!
episgscustom 8 months ago
@episgscustom Fair enough :) personally I really like the creamy tone my guitar can deliver :)

They do make shiny EMGs pickups. I'll bet it would look good on your guitar. :)
Great review, man! I enjoyed. :)
