Another poorly treated FF is the movie: Spirits Within. It is leagues better than XIII or AC.
I was POed when I heard the battle and victory themes for XIII. But Cocoon De Chocobo, the song played around the chocobos in Nautilus park, I love listening to it. It makes me feel like a little kid again.
As for XII, I never really got into it :/

I guess I should say it this way. The Spirits Within seemed too realistic compared to all the other games. FF games always carry a sense of, well, fantasy to me--the creatures, places, and magic. The Spirits Within has a lot of futuristic technology, but overall, it didn't have the fantasy feel to it the Games do.
@MizzMeme2006 We didn't get that with Advent Children either. It was an incoherent story with a lot of "cool fight scenes" and a emo Cloud that didn't measure up to half the man Cloud was at the end of Final Fantasy VII.
I'll take Spirits Within over Advent Children any day. At least the characters in Spirits Within don't act like retarded anime characters...they act like cardboard cut outs. Those cut outs are less obnoxious too. Pretty sad it's the direction Square is taking the series.

There hasn't been a decent Final Fantasy since X, and even then it's hard for me to call X decent (I grew up with it so nostalgia makes me like it). I will give XII credit for at least TRYING to do something different and while the game was too tedious, the story, characters and world did rock.

The stories and characters were meant to appeal to all general audiences of the world, which is why they had such a wide audience and fan base. When Sakaguchi left Square to form Mistwalker, he was noted for saying that Japanese companies were years behind in development and progression.
Blank and Steiner were awesome! I always thought Garnet would have a British accent, Zidane was out of sync a lot. Overall it was a good one! Congrats on completing it! I tried making so many dub's none ever got made!!!
I love the theme when they kidnap the princess zidane was great at points and just ok at point cause it seems like his pitch changes at different parts but still good job
Blank's microphone seemed a little off at times and Steiner needs to pull his mic away from his mouth a bit, Garnet seems a little bewildered/out-of-breath, and the pronunciation of some names seems odd/off, but all in all this was amazingly done. I love the accents and the grunts and such in the parts where there was technically no dialog are well put. Great work!

Because Final Fantasy games don't usually speak the protagonist's name (out of the sake of the player's ability to rename the character and such), of course it was anyone's opinion on how the name is pronouned.
Sure, Dissidia pronounces Zidane's name as "Zid-an" instead of "Zid-ain," but Dissidia didn't come out in Japan less than a year ago and Dissidia came out in the US less than a month ago. It was really anyone's guess on how the name was pronounced.

Wow, I'm enjoying this far more than I should... Like, I have all these little critiques and wishes and whatnot (like I wish you guys had quality microphones! It would be so awesome...) but in the end, I think this is so great. On my first playthrough as a kid (like 12 or 11), I use to dub the characters too! Seeing it actually put together with different people really makes me wish this game would get a dub.

Blank is excellent, and Zidane is perfect as usual (vaguely sounds like Quinton Flynn at parts), but their "chemistry"? Priceless. I loved the way the banter was directed for them.

I also adored Blank- he's got that slapstick bastardity (which is, as of today, a word XD) down to a T, and I was grinning like crazy at the Monty-Python-and-the-Holy-Grail-style "bumbling knight stuck in the manhole" bit- effing hilarious. I thought the guy who did Steiner was great in this video, especially during the cinematic with the screaming. The others were quite good as well.
One thing I might suggest, though, is that when Zidane isn't actually 'speaking' (like when it's in brackets), maybe you could do a distorted, thought/flashback sort of thing with his voice, if only to differentiate it from the rest of his lines.

Blimey, I can watch this over and over and never get bored! I'm such a FFIX nutter so I was slightly dubious when clicking, and even though I have my own ideas on what they sound like I thought that all the voices here were very fitting and really well done! I enjoyed it at any rate XP

I think that some volume levels should have been adjusted like Steiner's being freakin loud and Cinna's being very quiet compared to the others, but a lot of work went into this and it shows! Great job!
Garnet= a pretty and gentle voice perfect for her
Zidane=fitting voice
Steiner=PURE WIN the scream when Dagger swings and the wall are priceless
Blank=great. The fake accent is awesome
Cinna=accent is oddly fitting!

Nicely done. However why did you pronouce her name Gar-net?( with a space) It's Garnet like the stone. That sounded weird, very stupid.

Yeah, that's because I am very stupid...
I kept wanting to pronounce it with a French sound "Gar-nay," but I was supposed to pronounce it to sound sort of like "darn it." Somehow I think I mixed the two together, and it managed to slip past us both. ^~^;

Blank is excellent, and Zidane is perfect as usual (vaguely sounds like Quinton Flynn at parts), but their "chemistry"? Priceless. I loved the way the banter was directed for them.

I also adored Blank- he's got that slapstick bastardity (which is, as of today, a word XD) down to a T, and I was grinning like crazy at the Monty-Python-and-the-Holy-Grail-style "bumbling knight stuck in the manhole" bit- effing hilarious. I thought the guy who did Steiner was great in this video, especially during the cinematic with the screaming. The others were quite good as well.
One thing I might suggest, though, is that when Zidane isn't actually 'speaking' (like when it's in brackets), maybe you could do a distorted, thought/flashback sort of thing with his voice, if only to differentiate it from the rest of his lines.
Anyway, really well done.

Great voice acting... except one: Blank (in the beginning), he sounds a little wierd, I dont know, dont take this seriously, but he sounded a little bit feminin.
The best of all in my opinion is Cinna, actually of all the dubs youve been done Cinna was the best.

Blimey, I can watch this over and over and never get bored! I'm such a FFIX nutter so I was slightly dubious when clicking, and even though I have my own ideas on what they sound like I thought that all the voices here were very fitting and really well done! I enjoyed it at any rate XP
And tacklevines, don't be sorry for being loud, Steiner's a constantly shouting git and you got him down perfect!! You do the best screams. Oh and I have to adore Cole as Blank (also britland accent ftw!)
