Funding a 60days war to claim Spratlys or Sabah would cost $195,000/day, x 2months of bloodshed = a total economic toll of P5.1Trillon. That would be our National budget for 5years. We dont need to fight & die for these islands instead a border talk on how to develop these island among the claiming countries.

we have 8 garrisoned islets in spratlys but mga nagbabantay tlgang kawawa sundalo natin dun.. flag at machine gun at radio lng armas nila..ang supply minsan sa sang buan pa kung dumating.. research natin ICBM (intercontinental balistic missile) ng china... at kung ano relationship nito sa pinatayong underground submarine naval base sa south china sea...kakatakot.. ito ung dapat nating tutukan sa china..

The best thing to do is to develop it with a joint commercial (tourism)& military (R&R/base)use and extend the existing airstrip to accomodate some bigger planes. Build a man-made beach at the side of the airstrip along with a modern harbor, marina, hotel, and other tourism fascilities. =D
