@icey6792 so I prefer you choose one and train it then you can get another one if you want. BUT BEAWARE if you get 1 be sure to spend some quality time with it and try feeding sunflower seeds to them, and millet my birds love love love! Millet
@icey6792 I remember the first day I got my female cocktail the first few days or like 2 weeks they get lonely but after I got another male cocktail there was good news and bad news good news was the female found a partner and they often scratch each others body parts where they can't reach. Bad news is my female cocktail sits on my hand but the male does not cause he is scared and this makes the female feel like I'm a predator :( but she still sits on my hand sometimes.
I always have food in there all the time for my birds to eat when they are out of the cage. I also give them apple (they love it)
BUT! My birds are pretty smart and they take the apple out of the cage to eat it somewhere else..
Now i changed my technique and I stick a big piece of apple in the cage so they can't take it out, but they still smart and they take turns to go in the cage to eat... I can't sit there and wait for both of them to get in the cage because
My cockatiel Charlie would walk back to his cage after he was done playing with me. He passed away suddenly a couple days ago, I miss him so much. :( Life just won't be the same without him.
I have had birds for AAAALLLL my life and that is NOT how you get your bird back into the cage. That is the worst way. If you dont know how to get your bird in the cage then dont take it out of the cage. It is obiouse.....
really pritty birds :D but theyre too many things in the cage so that they havent enough place to spread their wings, and the cage is white and it blends the birds. but it a nice video!
one of my budgies escaped when i was replacing its bowls now it is sitting on the cage but when i try to get it inside the other budgie who is male tries to get out WHAT SHOULD I DO this budgie has a tendencie to try to escape help
my budgie flys across the room to get in her cage when she wants to. I didn't teach that she just does that but she likes being out and playing so I'm not sure why she does it. is this good or bad?
@abuzohair1 if you live in canada kijiji is always a great option, and the birds are almost always hand tamed and you ghet them for really cheap. Of course, i dont know anything about the states, so yeah.
Do you think you could do a video of your cockatiels cage set-up? You don't have to its your choice! I love your videos and your cockatiels! They are so cute. I'll sub to you! Thanks!
Hey my way to get them in is cool.Im not showing off but mine just fly's to the cage,he give's me his leg's,I open the door and he get's in!But your way's are so cool!Even your hand feeding helped!

BECAUSE....
they know I'm watching them to get in there to close the door..
I just have to be lucky to catch them both in there..
even though they give me a little hard time to get them in their cage I love my birds :)
Sorry my comment didn't fit in one comment :)
blessings for everyone!
