Would've definitely been a World Champion by now, his talent was unique. Winning 3 masters titles, the way he did, will go down in the history books. It's still a sad loss to this day. What a player and what a character. I don't watch Snooker much these days, Paul was the reason I got into the sport, after watching him beat Fergal O'Brien in the masters final, it made me pick up a cue. What a legend. R.I.P. Paul.

I just cannot watch this, it is too sad. I started to watch and play snooker same time when Paul started his career, definitely one of my favorites. He was such a delicate player, never hesitated on his shots, played every frame with his heart.

It will soon be his death anniversary, and birthday after that. Every year around this time, I think of him and hope that he wouldn't be taken away from us. But then I figured, maybe God needs someone to play snooker with, and he loves Paul the most.

Never underestimate just how good Paul was. Some of the Snooker he played during his Masters wins was as good as I've ever seen.

He wasn't quite as good as Ronnie and John Higgins but he was on the level just below that,which wasn't a bad place to be.

It's surprising that he only had one decent year at the Crucible(2003,where he was 1 frame away from the final) but I'm sure he would've got to at least a couple of finals and probably would've won at least one of them if he hadn't got Cancer.
