  • Many, many thanks for uploading this. What is the song just before 'Agnes, Queen of Sorrow'? The one with the 'it's hard to see' refrain. I don't recognise it, and am surprised at myself...

  • @tenoclocknews

    This is a tricky one.

The song with the 'it's hard to see' refrain" is called "Hearts" and is written by Aram Stith. Will Oldham has never released it, but he played it live 2 times in june 2004. Amazing song by the way.

  • this is great, thanks so much buffaloson

    Thanks for the humongous upload.

  • I saw a couple shows from this tour in 04. Pink Nasty, the backup singer is hot(and from Austin!

I especially like 'Riding" about 27 mins in.

One time I had a dream that I played table tennis with Will Oldham (circa 2000. However, the dream was in 2005). It was so realistic. I felt guilty because I won three out of three games. He kept his cool and was being really charming, but I could tell he was kinda pissed. I've never won a game since (in real life).

  • Thanks for posting this. They really do create a beautiful noise together.

Superwolf is an album that everyone should have.

  • Indeed. "Lift Us Up" is one of the most amazing songs ever written.

  • The first song he sings, She drinks, is a cover (i had the original/version) but i can't remember who sung it...anyone? its playing on my mind

  • Very nice--too bad about the crystallized audio, but so many camcorders (was it a DV tape?) Really nice.

Too bad YouTube doesn't allow longer form items anymore. You're lucky to have gotten this up there. Oldham was brilliant here in Tokyo, too.
