The only thing I hate about the 2nd Broly movie is how Goten and Trunks were able to survive. Trunks and Goten should NOT have survived after the beating Broly gave to them, they should have died. I mean, Goten and Trunks haven't even learned how to fuse yet. There is no way they could have survived that long against Broly. End of Story.

In the movies, lightning has little to no relevevance for ssj2. Broly pwned a Toei haxed ssj2 Gohan without effort. Broly also went up against a stronger Goku. Though, I have to agree, Gohan in his Teen form would be a much better fight then his 17 year old form. Teen Gohan SS2 was much more...capable.

In the movies, lightning has little to no relevevance for ssj2. Broly pwned a Toei haxed ssj2 Gohan without effort. Broly also went up against a stronger Goku. Cell got his butt handed to him by ssj2 Gohan using only 50% power (according to the manga). Is it really that hard for cell fanboys to figure this out?? LMAO!

@Duskcoil No dur SS3 would kill Broly, because Goku would actually be able to take him on equal grounds, and defeat him with his superior battle prowess. But you have to realize SS2 was still barely able to hurt Broly, only enough to slightly bruise him. If you read up on the Second Coming, it clearly states that Gohan was in SS3. Though, I have to agree, Gohan in his Teen form would be a much better fight then his 17 year old form. Teen Gohan SS2 was much more...capable.

@Duskcoil except that you are wrong. as Toriyama himself has confirmed Broly ass part of the cannon, as wel as stating that his Legendary Super Saiyan form (the big beefcakey one) as being equal in power to a normal Super Saiyan 3. another fact is that Broly blows up planets in the blink of an eye where Cell must use either a Spirit Bomb or Death Ball to do so, as stated in his official character bio. Don't get me wrong, in my opinion Cell is the best villian in the series, I AM a cell fanboy.

SSJ1 + energy from them would not = SSJ2's power, not even close.
Second coming, sure Gohan was SSJ2, but at the time Gohan was a scrub. Goten and Trunks btw? they put up quite a fight Lol.

SS = 3x original powerlevel (OP)
SS1.5 = 5x OP
SS2 = 10x OP
SS3 = 20x OP
SS4 = 40x OP
Super namek is same as super saiyan
now lets do the math: Goku SS = 3x, Vegita SS1.5 = 5x, Gohan SS = 3x, Trunks SS1.5 = x5, & Piccolo SN = 2x.
lets add that up now: 3+5+3+5+3+2= 21x
Goku punched Broly with 21x his OP. which is greater than his SS3 powerlevel would be at that time.

Broly's Restrained SS = 5x

Remember? His "Getting...stronger...raaaaah!" is suggesting he got EVEN STRONGER than he was at first.

@Duskcoil ok, before you continue to argue weter or not they were tired or half dead, being either DOES NOT DECREASE YOUR POWER LEVEL, expending energy is the only way to decrease ones power level. also if you payed atention he comes after Cell in the timeline, Gohan cannot transform into SSJ2 at will until Majin Buu. next he DID get stronger, that is the reason He did not DIE from the blow. the comined powers did not make Goku more powerful than a SSJ3 it made the last blow slightly the strong.

He is NOT canon, he was never mentioned in the manga nor anime.
His levels make no sense, he gets defeated by Goku in 1 hit, defeated by Gohan (when he was weaker than younger) and even then proving he was SSJ2 at the time is impossible.
