  • You zionists are fucking hypocrites. Your Pam Geller sent the murderous zionist fascist Breivik to murder Norwegian youth who were campaigning for their country to terminate contact with the criminal zionist enclave.

  • @BoycottIsrahell I am Norwegian and I want to say just one thing to you: Get medical help, because this is beyond ignorance. You need medication.

  • This is one of the few times I am actualy ashamed to be Norwegian :(

  • @StianDasDass

You are pretending to be ashamed to be Norwegian because you are a zionist scumbag.

Why would a Norwegian be ashamed of his nationality? Get the fuck out of here.

  • strong and sad......very deep

  • As usual..Israel must stand on their own and do as they must..promises they are given are never kept...keep strong..Hashem will alwys have Israel in his sights!!

  • Once bitten twice shy.

  • powerful statement of the truth!

  • Wow, what a great song and great video.

  • gadol

  • If everyone here is so anti Rabin murder, then how come that you are so happy that an anti-Rabin song is released on his murder day? It is like someone would celebrate the murder day of every of over-thousand of killed by Palestinian terrorists or will start his obloquy judging of the victims. If you can't justify the second than why exactly you can justify the first? By which screwed moral?

  • @venera00 This song doesn't single out Rabin for denunciation. So your point regarding him doesn't exist to begin with.

At any rate he partook of massacring the Altalena commuters in 1948 and was never punished for it. He also went on the record issuing gratuitously venomous statements toward the "settlers". He's hardly the saint that the Israeli left has made him out to be.

  • I am a prude Israeli and I don't need extreme-rightists to advise me that I should fear something and hate someone and kill everything.

This moral of hate is not welcome, and is good for maybe Islamic terrorists, but not for us, Israelis. And don't use memory of innocent killed (that is still much lesser than killed in car accidents) to promote your crazy ideas. We can defend Israel without your advises. No need to become enemy of the good in Israel and poison what we've built here so far.

  • @venera00

It is not for Jews to decide if there is war with Arabs. Arabs already made that decision. It is war. Jews can only decide who will win that war; Jews or Arabs.

  • @venera00 Im not a crazed rightest, but I state level-headedly that the vision that underlied the Oslo accords of a "New Middle East" were truly petulant & naive in the extreme.Peres, Beilin, Ron Pundaq, Yoav Hirshfeld & co. were acting as if we were a Scandinavian country trying to make pce with some other Scandinavian country and almost totally ignored the Arab statements & actions that indicated their real belligerent intentions. This gaggle should be put on trial and locked up for life.

  • @venera00 And how dare you compare the total of innocent Jews murdered because of the Oslo Accords to the tally of those killed in road accidents?! The catastrophe resulting from the Oslo Accords was almost totally avoidable and its fatalities unjustified. For those who've forgotten, the "saintly" Rabin dubbed them in his impudence "the victims of peace". Geesh...

  • @ZviJ1, If you want to badmouth someone, start with the terrorists. They are responsible for our innocent killed. You are free to also criticize our governments that don't do enough to solve this. Please don't call victims of the terrorists "victims of peace", because we don't have and never had a peace. Some people dare to use these numbers to badmouth peace dialogue, as if they can suggest any alternative to it, and as if we had never problems with the Palestinians before Oslo since 1949.

  • @venera00 I distinguish a realistic pursuit of peace, that didn't take place, from criminal adventurism like the Oslo Accords you support. And why didn't you ask your saint, Yitzhak Rabin, to refrain from calling victims of the "Palestinian" terrorists "victims of peace"?? Turns out you're also incredibly dumb in addition to insolent that it almost hurts... I'm not going to read further retorts from you. From now on you'll be talking in an echo chamber if you respond to my comments.

  • Many mistakes in the english translation. Someone needs to review this...

  • @jberrebi You're correct. The translation sucks, though it fortunately still conveys the essence of the lyrics' message.

  • There will be no peace until we learn to put our own lives above all the chimeras of negotiations, "peace processes" and the rest. There will be no peace until we start valuing ourselves.

  • What is increadibly sad to me is that there is yet another "Saint Rabin Day" in Israel so many years later, while all the ordinary Jews of Israel are seen as nothing, and can be shoved from place to place, or even killed, and no one cares. In Israel itself.

What can we expect from other countries if we don't respect our own people? If we see ourselves as "settlers" or "obstacles to peace," how can we expect others to see us differently?

  • The song is powerful and true on one hand, on the other, had Rabin foreseen what could happen, he would have never signed this scam of a peace treaty...

  • An anti-Rabin song published on the Rabin murder day can't be legit in my eyes (unless LatmaTV supports the murder). Also, trying to say that Rabin wanted Nobel and not peace is pretty idiotic.

  • @venera00

Considering the damage done to Israel and it's people since Oslo was signed, I'd say that this song being released on the day Rabin was murdered is right on target. The lie of Oslo has resulted in the murders of THOUSANDS of Israelis, and Rabin was directly responsible for it. I think the timing was perfect.

  • @ETWolverine, the ones who killed hope and peace on November 4, 1995 are responsible for the hundreds (not thousands) of Israelis killed in these 16 years, and certainly not the ones who went to stop the hate from both sides in Oslo.

By your tone I suppose you support the Rabin murder, so you can't stop me to consider you a barbarian who is not any different from supporters of Palestinian terrorists similarly killing innocent Israelis.

  • @venera00 You suppose wrong. I don't support his Rabin's murder. But I do place the blame for every murdered Israeli that took place after Oslo at his feet where it belongs. He had the opportunity to END THE THREAT OF PALESTINIAN TERRORISM FOREVER, but instead he threw away that opportunity in exchange for a "legacy of peace" that has turned out to be anything but. Rabin stands guilty of causing every single Israeli death after Oslo, and every single Palestinian death too.

  • @venera00 And here comes a leftist, turning everything upside down, blaming al-Aqsa intifada, rocket attacks and the rest on the murderer of Rabin, and using standard leftist technique of shaming everyone into silence.

"By your tone I suppose you support the Rabin murder."

Well, don't suppose. Don't give us this "suppose." The shame is on you for this "suppose" business.

  • It's the same thing all over again: "You have doubts about The Peace Process? It means you are against it. So you are against peace. You are for war. Only murderers are for war. You are a murderer!"

    Typical leftist game.

It never ceases to amaze me how leftists who claim to be for peace and to love everybody fill up with hatred and uncontrollable rage at mere mention of somebody not quite leftist. And never notice the contradiction.

    (cont.)

  • And no, dear, thousands were killed.

From Jewish Virtual Library: Fatal Terrorist Attacks in Israel Since the Oslo Accords

"From the signing of Oslo Accords between Israel and the PLO in September 1993 until September 2000, close to 300 Israelis were killed in terrorist attacks.

"From September 2000 until December 2005, another 1,100 Israelis were killed during the Palestinian Al-Aqsa Intifada.

    (cont.)

  • "Since December 2005, Palestinian terrorist attacks have claimed another 118 Israeli lives."

You can find their names and other information at " We Should Not Forget" web site.

But I don't think you care. You'd rather stick to "only hundreds were killed" and other illusions.

And it was not Yigal Amir who killed them.

    (cont.)

  • Which doesn't mean I'm justifying murder of Rabin. Don't try to hang it on me.

Your "went to stop the hate from both sides in Oslo" is a masterpiece of upside down. From both sides? Really? Have you ever heard of Trojan Horse (both the original Greek one and the one mentioned by Feisal Husseini?)

Your mind is in some alternative universe. Together with Shimon Peres, I suppose.

I wonder, did Yigal Amir also wipe out the dinosaurs?

  • @Kurtlane Super!!

  • that was powerful

  • This is a great song, but the translation to english is completely wrong! Caroline Glick is involved with this, please ask her to translate this properly.

  • Perfect!!!

  • very bad translation... it does do justice to the original Hebrew lyrics

  • Please, the present translation is unfortunately unacceptably un-professional.

The song deserves indeed a proper rendering into english!

  • Someting like that you dont and wont see on Palestinain TV or web-sides,

  • So true. Watching this video made me quite emotional. It's the truth and the world keeps wanting for this history to repeat itself.

  • what a problem?

    immanu el.

  • This is really brilliant.

  • Excellent reminder of the calamity brought upon the people of Israel by that shameful hoax called the Oslo peace treaty. If I can just point out something which, for me, should be emphasized as much as the missiles and that is the thousands of dead and wounded men, women, old and young - some very, very young - from Arafat's terror attacks, especially the newest arab "understandng" of the meaning of peace with the Jews...the demonic suicide bombers, both male and female!

  • Superb!!!

  • Powerful. Too sad and heartbreaking to be considered satire. This is more like tragedy.

  • The problem is we only see what the media lets us see, which is far less than the real, COMPLETE, picture. It makes us feel bitter and lost when reality does not meet our expectations.

As an ex-intelligence chief recently stated, the Arabs can afford to lose many wars; it will only take ONE loss for Israel to be wiped out.

  • Yes the Arabs are the invaders. They invaded in the seventh century AD, thats 600 years after the destruction of the second temple, 1200 years after the destruction of the first temple, 1700 years after the establishment of the first temple and 23 hundred years after the Jews had arrived back to their homeland after the egyptian captivity

Now if you dont believe this drivel why believe the Arab drivel is it because you are so antisemitic you will believe any lie told about a Jew?.

  • WOW! brought real tears!!

  • Wow and I always thought that LatmaTV was light hearted satire of Israeli affairs.

  • they were blind....but the problem is that they still want us to stay blind....How muc h blood do they need to understand that with this scum of the earh there is only one solution: Eretz Israel to Am ISrael ONLY...transfer YES: the arab ennemy ! No more war,no more prisonners,no more terrorists.Yes to death penalty yes to an arabrein country !

  • @jebjrs25sivan - Sorry but your fear is showing: people who are afraid don't think straight. On either side of the fence. Just remember this simple key: ANYONE who HATES is AFRAID.

And so-called 'transfer' won't work demographically or morally. In case you missed it, a recent genetic analysis concludes that 60-80% of so-called "Palestinian" population in the West Bank are descendents of Israel; Jews who converted to Islam rather than leave their 'beloved land'.

  • @TheShirEl The 60-80% figure consists in large measure of "Palis" descended from Samaritans forcibly converted to Islam.

I dont follow the logic underlying ur statement that a transfer wont work demographically or morally. Many Arab sates compelled their Jewish populations to emigrate and a total of ~900,000 Jews left those lands, many of whom to Israel.Jordan could be sufficiently developed for "Palestinian" habitation and theoretically forced into accepting the "Palestinians".

  • @jebjrs25sivan - Think about that the next time the phrase "Eretz Israel HaShlema" comes up - because it may be a choice between loving a 'thing' and loving G-d.

  • some of your best work yet!!! i love your weekly shows but this is one of the best songs u had!! your doing very important work keep up the great work!!! I just have some issues with the translation at times its not always "perfect" but I guess all my years working as a translator affects my opinion:) still love the shows and this song is just great!

  • That song/video should be required viewing to all the inept American politicians.

  • ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF LYRICS (3b of 3) The Ballad of Oslo's Children (The children of Oslo September '93) You promised an olive ranch, a dove We got missiles, oh such love Just two dead evey day What a great price to pay - for peace Keep on singing about your great bet We just got new orders over the secure net We don't have time for your stories That's ok, we know you're not sorry You promised a dove ...
  • ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF LYRICS (3 of 3) The Ballad of Oslo's Children (The children of Oslo September '93) I'm from Sderot Watch out for your Nobel, so it doesn't get dirtied by shrapnel, tears and blood No pressure, we won't ask you that you're planning for the neighborhood Because we learned long ago your word is no good In trauma wards, in Ashkelon, Itamar and in war, we ask We are the children of that Oslo ... Why was the truth was beyond your grasp ?
  • ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF LYRICS (2 of 3) The Ballad of Oslo's Children (The children of Oslo September '93) That you could try out on us - Why not, apres vous la deluge You promised an olive branch, a dove We got missiles, oh such love You promised joy and calm We got expulsions and bombs You promised a dove ... We are the children of Oslo September '93 We're all grown up, we're soldiers we're armed and wear helmets on our heads I'm from Kfar Saba Haifa Gush Katif
  • ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF LYRICS (1 of 3) The Ballad of Oslo's Children (The children of Oslo September '93) We are the children of Oslo September '93 You sold us out on the White House lawn for promises You were weary men who dreamed of Nobel Peace Prizes You were young women who embraced the dream and forgot the truth So you got your acclaim and signed a deal, That was total ruse
  • Beautiful, sad, and justifiably cynical.

  • Eerily piercing.

  • The best song Latma has produced to far, even though it's a straight lament.

  • @ Latma

Thank you so much for posting this video !

Can someone provide / post lyrics ?

  • P.S. They made me cry again. (And, BTW, I live in Haifa.)

  • Is this a take-off on a particular song? It seem similar to their version of "Shir HaShalom".

  • @zvi303 it is but not Shir hashalom but We are the Children of 1973

  • well you know there is new jersey an poughkeepsie etc. Thats not the point. the point is the number of NY jews has remained contant or declined in six decades. Jewish Israel has multiplied by a factor of 10. Tht's success for you, and ass for the Arabs, one days they will need to leave, and they better do it now for money than later by war.

  • omg you are so disgusting! everything u do to the arabs and u cry about it? if u wanted the fucking dove u shouldn't come to palestine shooting,2 dead per day? or 2 israeli dead? how many palestinians u kill huh?

  • @MrUnweX How many of them didn't want to kill us? How many of them had a real reason to want to kill us? How many stayed alive if any other sane state would face the same sitation? And how many of them are actually thelling the truth to ignorant youtube users who don't confirm the truth with their own eyes and sense?

  • @MrUnweX What a relevant reply, I'm done communicating with you.

  • @osherhaim hahahaha, i dont communicate with religious monkeys

  • Its time for the Arab invaders to move out of the land of Israel back to the deesert they came from.

  • Thank you. I agree, sad but true.

  • more jews in nyc than israel, heheh. why not all move there and get it over with, get out of that desert hellhole

  • @MyMomSaysSo

NY has THREE million Jews, Israel has six/ Why dont you come up here and see what a paradise can be made of a desert hell-hole

    Anyway september 11??

  • @BigB29357 Two million, about one million in the city.

  • @MyMomSaysSo It really doesn't matter how many Jews live overseas. Israel is our home, our origin, our beginning and our end, in Israel we protect ourselves and we don't need anyone's mercy. Israel is worth all this fighting, all the dead, the suffering, everything.

  • @MyMomSaysSo yea israel is soo desert bro, did u fail geography?

  • LatmaTV continues to amaze. THANK YOU, Ms. Glick! THANK YOU, LatmaTV stars! @winkie47, THANK YOU for the context!

    ISRAEL FOREVER!!

  • Sad but true...

  • This does no good. THE LEFT HAS NO SHAME!!!

  • Keep on the good work!!!

  • So true and so sad...beautiful song tough. Good work putting this video together, although i won't say that the subtitles are precise at times.

  • Great work

  • Nice song, love from Norway

  • @DISCOnnected90 I don't see why you are complaining. They did it with Hebrew AND English sub-titles, separate uploads. Many people in chu"l like to watch LATMA. For myself, I watch with the Hebrew sub-titles, then the English. This help improve my Hebrew.

  • @zvi303 I don't complain about the fact they did it with English subs, I think it's great, in fact. The thing that bothers me a little is their attempt to make the English translation rhyme - and therefore they change words and sentences, which automatically makes the translation inaccurate and less witty than it is in Hebrew. I say: Translate as it is, not as it rhymes.

  • (cont'd) It was lifted from Yael Meir's poem. Yael resided in Ramat HaMagshimin in 1973-74. The song rips into the politicians who were interested in a Nobel Prize and left the population to die at the rate of two a day since then, after disengagement, withdrawal, suicide bombers, qassam rockets, etc.

  • In order to understand the following Latma parody, you need know the original song on which it was based, "Winter 1973", was written by Shmuel Hasfari (formerly in Betar and DOV but for years gone far-left) and put to music by Uri Widislavski and first performed by an IDF educational entertainment group. It refers to the recruits of 1990-91 who were born in 1973 when, after the Yom Kippur War, a Yehoram Gaon song promised "this will be the very last war", and the lyrics are here.

  • Sad. True. Great work.
