The Beatles don't get enough credit for this heavy style of music. Bands like Nirvana took their influence from these guys too, and it shoes with brilliant songs like this. Oh, and WHAT vocals.

No one of the members managed to create music at the same level, neither John, Paul, George or Ringo. It is very sad to think of all the unfinished music at the mastertapes they recorded at the Abbey Road studios during the Let It Be sessions. Think of what we could have of wonderful music if they didn´t break up as a band. I´m very sad about this!

Turned into "Holy shit, where have I been the past 18 yrs?" Their music is and was absolutely life changing in my personal opinion. The Beatles don't get enough credit for this heavy style of music. Bands like Nirvana took their influence from these guys too, and it shoes with brilliant songs like this. Oh, and WHAT vocals.

@ElectricShockofHell It wasnt exactly as bad as that. Charlie had been planning a big race war and then when the beatles White album dropped every song in it related to his plan. Also he read in revelations about the 4 white angels (the beatles) speaking fire (their music) so thats how this all relates to Charlie

This use to be Charles Manson's song. He apparently would listen to this song, go insane and then kill people. This is what I have heard and I don't know the real facts so this may be wrong.

My god, words cannot express how much I love this song! I wont lie, and I wont pretend... SOMEHOW? (I really don't know why, it just doesn't click with me) I HATE almost every other Beatles song! (Don't rip on me here, I can see how good they are, and how influential their music is) But it just never clicked with me! But when I heard this song? I THOUGHT THIS WAS THE FUCKING WHO!!!!!!!! I was born in 1966, one year before their masterpiece, "Sgt. Pepper", that changed everything in popular music, and never surpassed since. I have often blamed my parents why I wasn´t borned earlier so that I could experience this magnificent period. I´ve missed it all, what a pity! And yes, this song lay down the cornerstone for what today is known as hard rock, for sure. Thank you Paul! Without you, no Deep Purple or Led Zeppelin.........The Beatles, allways, yeah!

@undri I totally agree with you! I think maybe that many don´t understand how good this music really is. It is not just good, it is more than that. The Beatles laid dawn the foundation for pop and rock music that almost everyone has follwed since. This song started the legacy of hard rock, and it is still, more than 40 years later, one of the best hard rock songs performed by any group, ever! It is only one word for this, love!!!!!!! We love The Beatles for what they did, allways!

This song is about a local roller coaster the "Boys" used to ride. Nothing to do with Charlie Manson, he was burnt out before he ever heard this song. Still a Rocker!

@lifelovemusic2009 I agree. Their music is nearly clasical music as it can be. But the sad thing was that after "Abbey Road", it was all over. No one of the members managed to create music at the same level, neither John, Paul, George or Ringo. It is very sad to think of all the unfinished music at the mastertapes they recorded at the Abbey Road studios during the Let It Be sessions. Think of what we could have of wonderful music if they didn´t break up as a band. I´m very sad about this!

@lifelovemusic2009 My father brought me Beatles: Rock Band for Christmas last year (I'm a huge Guitar Hero/Rock Band enthusist) and what started as a "The Beatles, yeah, everyone knows them." Turned into "Holy shit, where have I been the past 18 yrs?" Their music is and was absolutely life changing in my personal opinion. LOVE them completely and wish I was around when they were doing their thing.
