I've away from my computer for awhile, so I'm actually watching these high speed videos in reverse order. It is interesting to see the evolution of your use of the high speed camera. Now, I will watch them again in the forward order.
This video came out great Houzan. I like it. One thing i finally understood is a knife is not gonna quarter spin and then go straight. It took me a while to understand that knife and shuriken has to be a perfect quarter spin to the target.
Showing this video will give people a better understanding of no spin which is really quarter spin.
Sensei, this is amazing! My favorite video of yours by far! An amazing way to study the fight of shuriken, and when you make a mistake, to see what was done wrong! Take care Suzuki sensei.

Thank you.
I filmed it from a side in Part-3 of this series.
The reason is because distance between shuriken and camera is fixed.
A focus does not fit if I shoot it from a slanting degree.
In addition, I tested some brightness and color tone of function of a camera.
Because I cannot utilize enough ability of a new camera yet, I repeat testing.

The word of No-spin went around in Europe and America.
It had some Alias. Direct hit is that one, too.
However, there is not objection in a quarter spin being called No-spin, as for me.
The reason is because it actually sticks like a spear in a neighborhood of a target.
And when we watched a total orbit, a one-eighth spin exists.

Hi Suzuki,
Great video, you can see the meaning of the quarter-spin very clearly! Video like this is brilliant for beginners.
My Best, Mikael

Thank you Mikael .
I try to look for material of valuable throwing to shoot with a high speed camera.
Because there is not a meaning even if I shoot merely normal a quarter spin.

Thank you scott.
When you(we) fail to throw knife or shuriken, there is a lot of cause.
Mumyou-ryu analyzed at least "ten kinds of cause"
