@damon323 Yea - just update that drive firmware and you will be good. The purpose of TRIM is to refresh the memory chips much more often then normal in order to keep them from decaying quicker and therefore increasing the life of your drive.
@AalexX136 Right on!!! Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I think Im getting this drive for Chrismas so I cant wait to install it with my Quad Core setup. If it's that fast with just one drive, it must be insane with a RAID 0 setup.
I have a normal Intel i7 920 with no clocking, EVGA X58 SLI LE, Socket-1366 and OCZ DDR3 6 GB Obsidian Triple Channel and of course Intel X 25M G2 . Can it go that fast for me, or do I have to do something special. I admit I am a noob!
@Teamrunski Sounds like your computer is pretty similar to mine. Of course it should be able to do that, you have the same drive as me! If I were you, I would look into updating the firmware for your SSD. If you are running Windows 7, there is something called TRIM which will basically increase the life of your SSD. You should google around for guides on how to update your SSD's firmware.
@Teamrunski Yes I have. Without it the SSD's performance would degrade over time like any regular mechanical drive you use. It is just worth it to protect your investment if nothing else.
how did you made the script to open all these programs?
did you made it piece by piece? :D
bytheway, could you please send the bat or txt file to mick dot schotten @ hotmail dot com?
Thank you!
