Difficulty has only gotten better since I was on the mat last, but timing, formations and clean tumbling is going by the way side. Fun to watch but it wasn't always about skill it also was and still needs to be about putting a perfected clean routine on the floor. Sorry but tucked full twists (or double) only look good in singles not in groups. It's distracting and sloppy.

first off difficulty isn't everything. Their stunts are clean and they're also level 5 stunts which is all that matters. Also look at their pyramid and all of the difficulty there.

maybe the reason gabi isnt point for the second stunt is because shes the only flyer that has 2 girl bases (probably because she so little) so they want to put guy bases on the point flyer since there coed? idk but i think she should be pointt!! her stretches are beautiful

Gabi's been with Top Gun for what... 2 years? Look at almost every other program. Shooting Stars, Lyric's been there 1 year, has better body positions than Brooke (point flyer) but she's off point, Senior Elite, Maddie Davis, more consistent flyer, better body positions, but Maddie's point. Seniority does have an effect on where flyers are placed believe it or not.

@brittkneelulu its not just to do with body shapes, it's more based on who is where for formations and their transition from segment to segment, if its easiest for megan to get to point than anyone else then she'll end up point flyer. Or at least thats how my old squad worked it - nothing looks worse than someone mad dashing across the floor for the sake of being point purely because they have the prettiest spike or whatever.

gabi should be the point flyer, look at her stunts execution 0:19 Arabesque (3rd from the left) 0:39 Scales (4th from the left) 0:43 bow and arrow and 0:49 heel stretch. she's more flexible and has better execution than megan. Megan is great though, but not as flexible as gabi.
