V45 Sabre runs for first time (1982 Honda 750cc)

Your bike sounds like crap, mine sounds like that too!!! lol I hope i dont have a bad cylinder. How did you find out? I did a compression test and i had good compression on all 4!!! Mine has (1-2 second delay) when i blip the throttle. I cleaned the carbs and it didnt help. Im still looking for my problem :( Hows your Sabre coming Bro?

well, it wasn't completely back from the dead after all. The engine was a dud! Bad cylinder. Too expensive to rebuild. BUT, I found a replacement engine today and $100 and my mechanic is swapping it this weekend. Fingers crossed for a little bit of riding before the winter hits!
