It's really sad that Christians aspire to arrive to concerts in private jets, sports cars, and limos when a third of the world lives on 1 us dollar a day or less. This world is overrun with poverty and Christians are trying to be ballers. Christ commaned the rich young ruler to give give his wealth to the poor but we still want to live like rappers. this is really sad.

When our global neighbors can't afford bread and clean water is it ok to drive a Bentley?

No...that's not at all what absalom1517 is implying. As Christians we are supposed to live a life that reflects that of Jesus'. If someone is that blessed to be rich, the purpose of their wealth is to help the poor. Christ said in Matthew 16:26 "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"

It is common sense in accordance with scriptures that guided my comment. Christ spoke to the rich man about giving his wealth away to the poor. Christ himself lived in poverty knowing that as he carried out his Father's mission he would be provided for. All I'm saying is that all we have is God's. It is only ours so that we may be stewards and glorify him with it. People see the excess of Christians and they must wonder how valid their message is if it is their own wealth they seek.
