HI bought one of those than I tried to turn it on with Hdmi cable and NOTHING. I tried everything and that shit doesn't turn on. what a scam, what can I do?, I guess I'll have to send it back!

@b1nside Did you plug the DVI cable? If you only plug HDMI cable it wouldn't work. You should plug both of them then change the screen mode to HDMI. Check where you plug those cables. Both of them should be in your video card sockets instead of your motherboard sockets

@andri1687 The problem is that I have 2 led monitors and I want to connect both of them to the laptop. But I only have ONE Hdmi output in the laptop! So how can I connect both using hdmi? any adaptor or something? i can't find anything!

If your computer is good enough to edit video, you should out away the consoles and just play your PC on it too. It'll obviously do the monitor more justice too

Hey there. I've just bought this monitor and am experiencing some ghosting. Turning OD off did help a lot, however the setting won't save when turning off/on. Does anyone know a solution to keep OD off? Also I am interested as to what settings you are using? I'm finding it hard to get the colours right. Thanks a lot!!

I have the same monitor but I have yet to see ghosting on my monitor. I do play quite a bit of counter strike and other fast paced online games but it has done pretty well. My max frame rate is closer to 300fps on counter strike so it is keeping up well. The last knob thet you are not sure is for changing different imaging modes. gaming, scenary,standard, theater,night view. For the money as you said it is a good monitor.

Nice video! You may be able to eliminate some of the ghosting by changing the monitor to gamer mode if it has it, or disabling as much post-processing as possible (splendid etc).

You dont need to turn off and hold power+menu to get to the advanced menu, all you have to do is hold down the menu button when the screen is on...

The ghosting could also be from the fact that your macbook pro is powering thoses monitors and you could probably use more power in your macbook ..like ram and such

im looking into buying this monitor and i was listening to this video while reading the reviews on newegg the ghosting is cuased by a feature here's a copy patse from newegg.

the "ghosting" seems to be related to the OverDrive feature being turned on. Get into service menu: Power down, hold menu button + power on....when display powers on again, let go of both buttons. Once the "Source" window goes away press menu again. Move down to OD option, hit menu to select, hit up or down to turn OFF

@dragon111409 I just followed all of those steps and it definitely reduced the ghosting by about 95%. There's still a little bit of ghosting but its way better now. Thanks for the info man. I'll try to make a video on it soon.

@b09taylor Yea its a custom longboard that a graffiti artist painted for me a couple years ago. I turned it over because it has a lot of marijuana leaves drawn into the painting and I didn't know if that was appropriate for YouTube. It's a really great looking board. I didn't want to mess it up so I took off the wheels and grip tape and it's just posted up in my room.

I just bought the 23" version from Asus, the VH238H which by all reports has no ghosting. I thought that giving up the 1" would be worth it for $10 (on Newegg) and no ghosting. It's in the mail! @themexicannerd Thanks for the review and for answering my questions on twitter.

oh and btw i read somewhere if you go in the settings and turn off something called overdrive i think it was, ghosting is eliminated. Can you try that out and let me know :)

@djpzayne No I think that the MacBook Pro has a higher quality display. That's why I wish I could afford some apple Cinema Displays but they're too expensive for me. I really do like these monitors though, except for the ghosting.
