It's fake and airsoft edited replica with dummy bullet.

@RadiusNightly No, it's a plug-fire-cap gun. A replica that fires caps. Often used in low budget films, the firing pin is in the front instead of from behind. The hammer pushes the shell (with the cap inside) into the firing pin. That detonates the cap, and creates back pressure due to the firing pin creating a seal around the shell. That back pressure cycles the weapon's action. I've got an XM-177E2 as a PFC gun. They're pretty neat. Just a little expensive to get caps.

@RadiusNightly If you live in Japan, you can often buy them at hobby stores. If you don't, you can buy them online. For example tokyohobby net has them under their "model gun" section for online ordering. Because these are not guns, you don't need any kind of license or permission to buy them.
