i cant just stop watching thi video.i am falling in love with varanasi. what a beautiful ritual. i have decided to see this for the last time. because i have become addicted to this.
just got back from India. One of the places what impressed me the most was Varanasi. The city is very spiritual & magic esp. at night. It changed me as a person. Thanks for this video.
Nice video. I saw evening Puja in Varanasi twice and what made it special was the sounds, the bells and music. The soundtrack music for this video is nice but a disturbance here. You should have kept the original soundtrack.
Corby, as far as I could understand it was a kind of Nepali dialect of Hindi and in bits and parts many references were made to Krishna. I am from Kerala and I can just understand Hindi. I am not able to comprehend the entire bhajan. I hope you understand my stance. :)
I dont think this is nepali... but it is a translation of the chhote chhote gaiyya chhote chhote gwaal chhoto so mero madana gopal into whatever language it is...
Its a playful song about Lord Krishna - what do the cows eat, what do the friends of Krishna eat, what does our little Lord Krishna eat?
The cows eat grass, the friends take milk; but our little Krishna eats fresh butter... etc etc
This video shows the Ganga Arti in all its spectacular glory, but for me it's a bit limited because even with the soundtrack it's missing the constant bell ringing of the real puja.
Exquisite! I have seen other vids of this ritual and have been there myself but this is the finest by far, it really captures the beauty of the puja without the cacophany of the music and bells but instead a beautiful song in Hindi. Very graceful and magical. Thanks!
did you do anything at the burning ghats?...your editing is superb
