i aint ever measured the rims at rucker....but ill tell ya this, playing ball in NY playgrounds since i was a little kid i can definetly say a lot of the rims are lower than regulation 10 feet...doubt rucker park is thou, but who knows

are u serious? U think they gonna have NBA stars and streetball legends playin on lower rims...Hell No. U ever seen these guys play? they dont need a low basket to throw it down. Its regulation 10 the guy below me is an idiot he probably aint from New York and he [robably hasn't ever been to rucker park.

thanks for the answer, man... i knew that from Dr. J & Joe Hammond to Kobe & today's stars, there were a lot of great names (and players attached to them) to play/or throw it down at the Rucker... now, i'm from Romania and i haven't been to Rucker Park but I know enough about it to recognize it as the the most famous basketball court in the world... so now it seems obvious to me that a court of that caliber couldn't have had lower rims.

to be honest with u the rim is lower..it's about 9'10..I don't know if they raised it to the legal limit..incase you're wondering or questioning my valid argument I'm from the polo grounds...my projects is approximately one hundred foot steps from rucker park. I've heard players say it from time to time..whether it has been raised to legal limit I can't say..and I don't think they lowered it so that players could do more showtime dunks..I think they just left it like that..just because
