Tricky song. You can tell from the live versions on here. Lord nails it but Gillan and Blackmore can't be bothered. Could be high, who knows. Or fatigue (benefit of the doubt). I do remember being concerned when they played on one of the music shows in '73 or so and Blackmore a solo with his foot! In retrospect it doesn't sound that difficult. Maybe Lord was a bit much for these blokes.
