Christianity does not copy paganism. That is a modern day myth but if looked more closely, it is found to be without basis. Jesus is as original as it can be. Krishna and so on, were not even close what Jesus was and is.
@lahmarko You might want to research the origins of Christmas and Easter if you think Christianity hasn't copied paganism. It is a historical fact that many things within Christianity has been "redeemed" from paganism.
@1olivebranch I don't think Christianity has in any way copied paganism. It is rather that Christianity has put it's own festivals and celebrations (that are original) over the pagan festivals. Like Christmas, in 25th of december. In that day is some pagan celebration ( I don't know what) and Christians put the birthday of Jesus on that date even though Jesus probably was born in october. We celebrate it on that pagan day.It doesn't mean that Christianity has taken something from paganism.
@lahmarko I suggest you look into the Roman festival of Saturnalia for a peek into why December 25 was chosen as the birthday of our Messiah. Ever wonder why we hunt for easter eggs to celebrate our saviour's ressurection? Constantine had a lot to to with why these particular times were chosen for our Christian celebrations. Please do not take what I am saying and assume I am a non-believer. I am a believer, but I think the Christian world needs to be educated about why we do what we do.
@1olivebranch You are correct, but those hung up on religion refuse to accept this as truth. Pagan holidays were basically turned over to Christina holidays when the powers that be at the time decided to follow Christianity. One of the many reasons my family does not celebrate Christmas as Jesus' birthday, due to its Pagan roots and commercialism. One day people will loose the religion and follow Christ.
God creates,Satan imitates. The Spirit hovered over the void and the void has been playin catch up ever since. The 'beauty' of it is, unless you have the indwelling Spirit, you CANNOT discern spiritual things. One thing for sure, Satan is God's devil and His leash is unbreakable.OF COURSE things seem bass ackwards to the darkened mind....Time to repent before the second death.

This band copies AC/DC in the same way Christianity copies Paganism.
