The mage would suprise you, but he's actually my favourite killing machine -- anything you conjure and drop over a skeleton - if it lands on em, it kills em. I like him for the moments where you have 3-5 skeletons coming at ya, just make a huge plank , kaboom. This game is great.

Brothers tend to not realise that I've helped them. It'll be "Will you make a block already" and I've moved 2 platforms, planted a block and made it to the other side waiting for them XD

Best way to compare is in a test to be able to play all games in 4 player. Excluding games like RB/GH and instruments.

PS3.

You need a PS3, and 3 extra pads.

360.

You need a 360, and 3 extra pads.

Wii.

You need a Wii, 3 extra Wiimotes, 3 extra Nunchucks, 4 Classic Controlers, 4 Wii Motion Pluses and because I said every game, I include NGC into this as the Wii can play them just like the PS3 can play old games, you then need 4 NGC pads.

I have all the above, I know which cost me more.

The PS3 isn't expensive at all. People should keep in mind and pay attention not only to the price, but to what they're paying for. The PS3 has an incredible hardware and you'll pay a budget price for what you'll be getting. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely its worth it. The PS3 has really good value for the price you pay for it. It's has the best exclusives IMO and a very reliable machine that will last you for many many years. I believe it will be as great as the PS2 at the end of this gaming generation. Highly recommended.

Thing is though, you can no longer class the PS' as gen consoles. Because the PS2 has been going for almost 3 gens.

Blu Ray player was worth it for me alone.

But then add in free wireless, free online (And better IMO, I have less lag on my PS3 than I do my 360), built in battery packs for all pads etc...

If by not anymore you mean that the online isn't free, Playstation Plus isn't required to play online or do any of the features the PS3's had for online since it began.

Playstation Plus is like a roulette. You pay £40 a year to get £200's worth of gaming content, only some of it you'll already have. You also get access to games and demo's early.

And I think it's a gamble worth taking as I've so far had at least £5's worth of content for free every month, so even if it continues at only £5, then I've paid £40 for £60 and that's not bad.

I just hope Plus forces Live to better itself, because Live is even worse in comparison now.

Not anymore. Xbox 360 S has a much improved internet WiFi modem inside of it which is the strongest of all three consoles now. Though I agree, I'm starting to favor the PS3 as developers are becoming less afraid from the hardware and programing which in turn is allowing more polished, quality titles. (Not a fanboy comment, it's common knowledge)

I think the P.C one might have, but pretty sure the PS3 one is offline only.

Probably because without headsets it'd be impossible to play and not everyone will have them.

Well gee, there are loads of games that are near-impossible to play online without communication (headsets), and you're correct: not everyone has them. I mean, I've played countless online co-op games that were exceedingly frustrating becuase my teammates couldn't speak to me and I had no idea if they could even hear me. However, that's no reason to not include online play in a game.

When I play with a mic yeah, and without a mic, there's no point in trying to play team based games.

So I've just pretty much given up on online unless it's games that I can easily play without a mic.

Well if he can I'd love to know how as I've been keeping tabs on this game since it hit Steam about 2 months back and not a single person has said he can attack.

I've also now played the hell out of him and the best I can mange is dropping boxes to help with fighting (Blockades).
