I just tried it, and they patched it. The animation is canceled, but they must have put the reload on a timer, because the sniper just sits there for 4 seconds without firing until the next round is cycled.

yea,but alot of pll got mad at it,.and ea and dice had to put it were you could not do it anymore if you tried to you would get a 2 sec delay before you could fire again even after the normal time had passed

The same with the shotgun.

If you zoom-in quickly, fire and zoom-out immediately after, you won't have to pump if it is it's a pump-action shotgun.

Also, when you see the ammo fill up in the bottom right, you can press RB twice quickly and your gun will be reloaded without necessarily going through the whole reload animation.

you can sort-of do that with a knife in the actual game. press Y twice fast and you should slash twice quickly, not sure if they both work but you can press RB to change weapon after slashing then Y quickly again to slash nearly twice as quick....

I have the actual game and the glitch is still there, but it has been toned down a little its like 3 seconds now with the glitch.

i use that all the time, doesnt work really on ps3 anymore

but now, theres just lots of bugs, and sometimes it makes it so theres no sound, and my gun doesnt have to reload OR even get out of the scope between shots

but then theres bad ones, like when i shoot a guy 50 times in the head he's still not dead, and somebody else comes by and shoots him and kills him, but when i shot him, he moved when it hit him like it should, just no damage...?? i guess good for him :(

Yeah they fix it. The problem is this game dont support clan, probably this is first Battlefield without this option... Also there is no private servers, open mic, prone position and parachures all things that was in previous BF for consoles Battlefield Modern Combat.

I think if you could go prone, it'd make it a lot harder to fight snipers. At first I though it was weird, but it kind of helps fighting in the urban environments if the defenders don't just lay down in brush or on rooftops.

Guys its much better that there ist a prone.

think of it your walking whit your m16 and your in map whit high grass and trees and little dark and shit.

so your walking and you get sniped where the hack did that come from?

he could be laying in the grass so you didnt see him he could be laying on the roof, he could be laying behind the tree and go on.

Now whit crouch only ppl like that still have an oppertunity to see the sniper guy.

I think it makes the game more ballenced

Dont forget the almighty reload sprint cancel! Right after hitting x to reload on any gun, start sprinting and the gun still reloads lol. w00t.

its frozen for a few seconds while im in sniper view and the sound went another time its a demo so its not finished theyl probably fix that problem along with THE COMPLETE LACK OF A PRONE POSITION!!! seriously how hard it it to put a stand crouch and prone stance option in the game...

Semi auto's, not accurate?

The barret M95 .406, can shoot 2500 yards and hit a 2ft target, if you watch the Future Weapons episode where its on it, you will see how accurate a semi auto sniper can be.

the M95 barret is a Bolt action not a semi auto u watch the future weapons and think about its the barret m102 they show not the m95 which was made for people who wanted or prefferred a bolt over a semi in actuality the m95 is more accurate and smaller than the its semi auto brethern the Light 50 bolt action is a monster

I forgot to add this earlier, but the only positive of this is that in reality with todays weapons most of the snipers should be semi-auto, not bolt so its kind of even to the technology, i also hear they are including a semi sniper if u pre order the game, part of the find all five deal.

the truth is semi auto snipers are really inaccurate and are really only for rapid engagement. bolt action sniper rifles are way more accurate.

thats called aQSG or quick switch glitch. It was a MASSIVE problem in modern combat because you could do it so fast it was sometimes refered to as the machine gun sniper. DICE did fix it tho, and they should be able 2 fix this
