yes i wana start too i think im gona use a cheep spinning reel with my bow and buy a bowfishing arrow and just tie my 50pound line to the arrow and shoot sheep head at the dam i go to

buy yourself a used bow ... recurved would be best ... try not to buy the real expensive compounds and dont have your bow set up in 70 lbs for bowfishing ... get a 45-50 lbs even 30 lbs can work... that way your arrows wont get stuck everywhere ..make sure you buy a good bowfishing reel,line and arrow... buy 2 just in case ...remember your berly starting so unless you have the money buy new things .

im 16 and have been bowhunting and fishing all my life and this summer i took on bowfishing and it is awesome but we kill some pretty nice gar and carp where im from at the iowa great lakes and the local dnr usually stop us and thank us for cleaning out spots or usually give us new areas to clean out we are doing the world a favor carp are garbage fish and are ruining some of the worlds finest fresh water lakes so people please this is not bad to kill trash fish

No need to say a bunch of stuff when you dont know what your talking about nobody limits weight in a tournament its reccomended to shoot less so you dont get a complete pass through but nobody limits it in the rules of a tournament. I shoot for muzzy and for HawgNSons and ive never heard of anything your talkin about dude haha. Nice shootin trent

man looks like your doing good, but i think you need to tune your bow down a lil, i shoot for muzzy in tournaments,so i know what i'm talking about, just so you don't think i'm one of those retarded negative ppl. i love bowfishing i get paid for it and my stuff is free,just to let you know i shoot muzzy's new bow that hasn't came out yet its the night stalker. its awesome exept its to light i just got to get used to, but i shoot it at 33 pounds you can't shoot over 50 lbs. in a tournament..
