As much as I'd like to agree, being a huge Castlevania fan my self, I think it's just inspired by the whole... gothic vampire thing, Castlevania excluded. Besides, Castlevania seems to have a more... orcestra feel to it. IF you get what I'm trying to say there.

I am a HUGE fan of Suikoden series, but Suikoden 2's songs are not that catchy for me.
This song, however, used to gives me the creeps before. I almost always ended up having just 4 people alive after this battle. haha
