  • I worked on B-1Bs from 1984 until 1992.....at Dyess and Ellsworth AFB

  • Ahh the Dyess AFB air show. Good times.

  • arent the engines simular to the f-15 ? or exact?

  • Why do we need a supersonic bomber, again? We aren't really still planning a low-level nuclear strike against Russia, are we?

  • holy shit that thing was hauling ass

  • i live bout 53nm frm Dyess AFB n if theres a day they dnt fly over then they must be sick.usually evr 45min they fly over or some days evr 15mins

  • That plane is one sexy beast!

  • A departing B1b did a LOW flyby and lit the afterburners over Paine Field and Boeing's Everett Plant when I was working the flightline years ago. Hard to forget how that sounded.

  • I have seen a b1b demo in person one time. It sounds like the apocalypse. Best hearing loss experience ever.

  • Really nice! I love the music too!

  • and B_2 ?

  • i could walk outside right now and touch this jet lol

  • Yep, we flew over to Michigan, did an airshow flyby there, hit a tanker and then came back to entertain you guys.

    TPUC

  • I was at this show in Rockford and after watching this incredible aircraft and hearing the insane noise it made, it became one of my favorites! I hope they have it at the show next month! We rarely get to see the bomber aircraft anymore. I would also love to see the B2 Spirit again as well! Great vid, thanks for posting!

  • Nice video, the pilot was probably my neighbor in Abilene.

  • This is a beautiful and gracefull beast. I have seen it fly many times. Got to see it in low level testing out at Edwards AFB back in 1986. I have no idea what they were doing out there but it was a beautiful bird to watch. One flew out of Norton AFB directly over my house in '92 or so. It was the morning after the last air show before the base closed. That thing shook the houselike no other jet. Damn it was loud. It didn't fly at the show. It was there on static display.
