Yes if you get on their mailing list by giving them your address for any reason, which they'll try and get before you realise why, they will phone and write to you every day and will not stop if you ask them to, abusing the laws of harassment. AFAIK, if something is in the public view, it's legal to film it. Businesses that deal with the public have no expectation of privacy. You might have a problem if you were on a crane trying to film an auditing session, but Sandra trying to sell BOOKS to the public, IMHO that's within your artistic and journalistic rights.

Great seeing you on ARS, by the way.  But any way, the law is whatever the Judge says it is. Filming in a puiblic area is allowed up until a Judge says somebody has crossed the line. Case law determines what the actual law is, and case law is always changing. If a crime syndicate ringleader cries about how terrorfied and weak they are because cameras hurt them physically, some Judge could rule in their favor.

Think I should make a point here about the "meds" thing. Chemo is a horrible regimen to have to endure and the cost of anti-nausea drugs absolutely staggering. One Kytril pill is $60.00 and and at twice a day is a killer. So on my doctor's advice I purchased some weed-he would not put it in writing-and have been doing just great ever since. This is off topic but germane to your situation. Rock on Stu.
